I get excited about leaving home, sad when I have to return to it, and lose track which day of the week it is because it's all a blur and feel the same to me. I stare at my messenger apps more than a starving cat staring under a counter, ready to pounce whoever pops out.
Me: Wears a knee-length skirt and short sleeves in 38F/3C weather.
Also Me: Complains about shivering from eating a bowl of cereal.
Feeling confused by my attraction towards femininity and masculinity at the same time in any gender.
Last night I was 'princess carried' around for the first time, and by someone claiming to have low upper body strength.
When I realized my true self, it wasn't that I didn't know who I am, but I didn't know how to tell the world who I am. I wasn't able to tell the world until a decade later, too scared, but I did and my worst days since are happier than my best days before.
