This is a tremendously important development in the @StateDept @StateDeptCT effort against Far Left Terrorism. As I testified before @SenEricSchmitt’s committee, the A/I collective provides services that allow for distributing communiques and encrypted communications.
Far-left terrorism poses a profound threat to the United States and the broader West. Today, the United States sanctioned several transnational far-left terrorist networks, including Autistici/Inventati – a major far-left tech collective whose services are used by the most active and violent Antifa cells in the United States and across the world. There will be no refuge for violent extremists who wage war on our civilization and plot to undermine law and order, destroy critical infrastructure, assault political opponents, or conspire to conceal their crimes from authorities. We will use all the tools and authorities at our disposal to fight terrorism and protect our way of life from terrorist coercion.

Communism is the most barbaric, evil ideology the world has ever seen.
Today and every day, we mourn the tens of millions of innocent men, women, and children slain at the hands of this wicked ideology.
In the purge of counterterrorism training that presaged rise of “countering violent extremism” one diktat was that training not rely primarily on “case studies.” Rather than helping officers develop an accurate heuristic based on historical examples, the goal was to apply outside academic theories with no basis in reality.

Secretary Rubio last night:
“It would have been very easy to is ignore the Iran thing, leave it for the next guy.”
“We cannot live in a world in which the most radical terroristic regime on the planet possesses a weapon of mass destruction.”
I’m not sure they failed to recognize that they needed to wrap up the war as much as they failed to recognize that the enemy gets a vote and the Iranians WOULD NOT negotiate an end to the conflict because the economic outcome suited them. The biggest misread I see from all parties is ignoring that the Iranians are themselves actors in the conflict, and they want it to continue.
As much as I like @marcthiessen & @marklevinshow , I tend to agree with @seanmdav that they were too focused on escalating the 2026 Iran War, had no exit strategy, and failed to recognize that if the war was not wrapped up by April or so, the GOP would suffer badly in the midterm election.

A federal court has affirmed Florida’s designation of CAIR, the Muslim Brotherhood, and Antifa as domestic terrorist organizations.
This is the right call for the safety of Floridians. FDLE remains vigilant against threats and committed to keeping Floridians safe.

The United States will not tolerate subversive communist networks in our hemisphere.
The Marxist Cuban regime relies on a web of state-owned enterprises, joint ventures, and offshore intermediaries to keep its systems running, and its foreign backers supply the military equipment that helps sustain the regime’s military forces and enables persistent threats to the American homeland.
Today, I'm sanctioning eight entities and two individuals associated with the regime’s financial and shipping network, state-owned import and technical-support entities, and China-based suppliers of the regime's military forces.

This morning, a federal court upheld Florida’s Domestic Terrorist Organization law and rejected CAIR’s attempt to stop the designations.
Great win by our Solicitor General's office and for the people of Florida!

Not a single exit poll is showing that Iran and Israel is even a top four concern for voters. It’s completely tone deaf.
The top concern is jobs. It is the economy. It is the cost of living. It is tariffs.

🚨 Fergie Chambers-Funded Gaza Aid Group Reveals Its Radical Mission and Raises Serious Questions About Financial Oversight
During an appearance on the Psychic Militancy podcast, Hala Sabbah, co-founder of the Sameer Project, offered a revealing explanation of the organization's political objectives.
“We view aid as a form of resistance, as a way to fund steadfastness, as a way to fund justice, not simply as a tool to numb people.”
Sabbah then had a mask-off moment, making the organization's ultimate objective clear.
“Like our goal is not to feed people. Our goal is liberation.”
Sabbah described using political education to mobilize supporters beyond fundraising, connecting colonialism, patriarchy, capitalism, and war profiteering to a broader revolutionary struggle.
It's worth noting that the Sameer Project received hundreds of thousands of dollars from far-left financier and Cox Cable heir Fergie Chambers, currently jailed in Spain while fighting extradition to the United States over allegations involving financial support for Hamas.
The Sameer Project was co-founded in 2024 by Sabbah, who lives in Spain, Lena Dajani, a Palestinian-American based in California, and an anonymous individual operating under the name Translating Falasteen.
Sabbah explained that the three co-founders had never met in person and described Translating Falasteen as the project's technical specialist, responsible for developing its applications.
Perhaps most concerning was Sabbah's insistence that decisions about how donated money is spent should come from Palestinians inside Gaza, not the organization's overseas founders or even its donors.
“It's not up to us.”
Sabbah's description raises serious questions about financial accountability. If overseas founders defer spending decisions to individuals inside Gaza, who ultimately verifies where the money goes, who receives it, and whether appropriate safeguards are in place?
To say there are red flags here would be an understatement.
It’s worth noting that the left’s most radical fringe abandoned Biden/Harris SPECIFICALLY for not being anti-Israel enough, refusing to turnout in 2024. In other words they did exactly what is now being advocated for by some voices on the right —to their own detriment.
Contrary to the claims of @JDVance, data from NORC's Civic Health and Elections project appears to show that the main driver of voting difference was not Trump voters who showed up but decided to vote Democrat instead. This played a role but it ended up being quite minor.
According to an NBC exit poll, ~6% of 2024 Trump voters supported a Democratic House candidate in 2026 vs ~3% of Harris voters defecting the other way), for a net of only around a ~3% difference from turncoat voters.
The major difference came from the surge in turnout among those who simply didn't vote in 2024. They showed up, and they heavily voted with the Dems.
Is it possible that JD has better data? Maybe, but then he should make it publicly available (along with the stated reasons and methodology) if his goal is to convince others.

Makes today’s statement even more puzzling. Only 19% of Republicans said U.S. support for Israel is too strong. 59% said it’s not strong enough.
ABC News voter poll conducted from Oct 19 to Nov 3, 2026.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The attached ABC News graphic reports the partisan makeup of voters *within each response category* (e.g., 19% of those saying support for Israel is "too strong" voted Republican), not the share of Republicans holding each view.

Several of the top right wing podcasters in America have acted very openly and proudly as demoralization agents against the GOP. For two years, they've been undermining the coalition. No post mortem about the elections is complete without recognizing that obvious reality.

I am not sure how Vice President Vance can square away polling with blaming the relationship with Israel for the midterm loss.
Nothing on tariffs? Nothing on deportations? Nothing on corruption? Really?
One of the things the data analysts on our side obsessed over was "composition"—whether the electorate looked close enough to 2024 for Republicans to win. And despite polls that showed a Democrat blowout, the data kept on telling us the same story: in some states turnout was merely OK, in other states it was downright amazing, and in no state was it catastrophic. There was a genuine sense of optimism on our team: our people were showing up.
So, I asked the smartest data guy I know, does that mean we're going to shock the world? "No," he told me. "We might do better than the polls suggest. But the data is telling us that a lot of Trump/Vance 2024 voters are pissed and planning to vote for the other guys. Our voters are turning out, but they may not vote for us."
Well, that looks prophetic now. Our voters did show up. In Florida, for example, the electorate was 9 points more Republican than Democrat, just a couple points worse than 2024. Undoubtedly there were places we could have done better on turnout. But the main problem is not turnout. The main problem is that many people who voted for Trump/Vance in 2024 voted for Democrats in 2026.
There will be a lot of infighting and arguing over what happened and why that is. One of the pollsters I really respect told me that our economic messaging wasn’t sharp enough down the stretch. I’m sure that’s true.
But the real reason we lost is obvious to almost everyone.
Another pollster—one of the smartest people I know in politics, told me yesterday we’d lose the generic ballot by 13 points. I felt negative going into Tuesday, but even I was shocked by this. In his polling, he saw that a lot of Trump 2024 voters were angry and planning to vote for Democrats. He asked those voters who had abandoned us what would cause them to come back on our team. The top four answers, accounting for nearly all of the responses were:
1) End the war
2) Focus on cost of living/inflation
3) Put America First
4) Change our relationship to Israel
Our voters showed up. And the above four reasons are why many of them voted for Democrats. This is according to a pollster who nailed the results. While many spent Monday attacking Rachel Campos Duffy for calling for a diplomatic resolution to the conflict, it turns out her political advice was sound. (She’s also a great person.)
In the next few months, there's going to be a lot of gaslighting. Expect to hear any number of establishment politicians say the solution to our woes is amnesty. I'm open to the idea that we should change enforcement—by focusing more on businesses that hire illegal labor, for instance. But anyone pushing amnesty is lying to you.
The reason we lost is the war. The president himself said so last night.
If you'd like to argue it was worth it, that losing the Senate for the next 6 years was worth it, then do so. Argue it was a worthwhile cost to pay. Agree or disagree, that's at least honest.
But everyone knows why we lost. And any honest conversation about where we go from here must start there.
I remain hopeful about our country. To the people who are pissed off and want to say, “I told you so”: you’re right, you did tell us so. Take that energy into electing Republicans who share your worldview. To the people who are just pissed at the results, you should be. Let’s take that anger and get back to the work of saving our country.
