Washington DC Ryan Walters thinks he knows how to turn down the volume at Memorial Stadium. Husker fans, consider that a challenge. 👀

Having just completed his second month of chemotherapy, 11-year-old Juan meets every day with the grit and grace that make him a Husky Hero in every sense of the word. Juan usually undergoes treatment from his home in Monroe, Washington, with trips to Seattle for care at @seattlechildren as he fights high-risk ALL leukemia. This time, he made the trip just to keep up with his Dawgs. Juan spent time at Husky Stadium surrounded by friends and family repping his custom design for Project Superstar, the community fundraiser supporting Seattle Children’s through Race Porter’s Heart on My Sleeve (HOMS). Juan and his crew even got a game of soccer going with the same Dawgs who will face Minnesota tomorrow in their first Big Ten game of the season. Husky Hero Juan will be watching from their corner when they do. We hope he knows they’ll always be in his corner, too. Keep shining, Juan. We’re so proud you’re one of us. 🐾

Hopefully something to brighten all the negative Husky fan posts… (1) The Husky Hero this week was Benny… He’s a seven-year-old boy that’s gone through way too many adult things in his short little life, but he loves the Huskies and he loves my boys and got to spend a couple
