irl hitting hard recently so I've had very little time to either be here actively or create art, but I am creating art in my head and have quite a few pieces lined up for when I'm able to sit down and do some work

Making art (if done right) is like going to the gym: it's a lot of hard work, it takes a lot of commitment to do it every day, and you need to stick with it for a long time before you see any results. But if you don't give up, you will definitely get there.
It's also a lot like sex (if done right): any time you do it, it will leave you exhausted and depleted, but also happy and satisfied.
