The video below is important to watch.
We are thankful this person was brave enough to call out this bullshit & share it online.
And we are thankful for @justinaversano for sharing it in this community.
The more people know that men behaving like this is unacceptable, the less chance of someone gets hurt in the future.

We’re so damn proud of this one.
Big love to @jared_poz of @8NAP_ART for inviting us to co-curate and plan this IRL Museum exhibition in Mexico City, it was a dream.

Digital Mythology was an honor and a true highlight for me and 8NAP.
As the show comes to a close, I wanted to share a short video reflecting on what made it so special: incredible art, meaningful moments, and new audiences experiencing these works for the first time.
I truly believe we’re in the middle of something remarkable. A movement is happening. And we’re only at the beginning.

Too many lives are kept in the shadows.
For Phase 5 of Digital Encounters, Alfredo Salazar-Caro (@TMVRTX) presents Como Semillas en el Viento (excerpt 1), a focused moving-image work within the project of the same name, commissioned by Pérez Art Museum Miami in 2024.
The edition combines 3D-scanned artifacts from the Mexica pantheon with surreal, 3D-scanned portraits of migrant workers from Central and South America, honouring their lives and contributions.
Born in Mexico City, Salazar-Caro works across portraiture, documentary, video, sculpture, and XR. A sculpture by the artist is also on view at Museo Anahuacalli as part of the Digital Encounters programme.
The edition releases August 25. Reply if you’re interested in joining the allowlist for next week’s mint.

Climbing (And Photographing) The New York Times Tower (Part One)
A small window of opportunity presented itself to us to make a climb of one of the city’s most beautiful spire. The top of the New York Times building is about 1100 feet AGL. On this particular day we caught wind of a nondescript door that workers were coming in and out of to smoke. Following our trail of curiosity, one of us cosplayed as a worker, took a “smoke break” nearby an actual employee and caught the door going back in.
Waiting ten to fifteen seconds, all of us piled in and found ourselves injected into one of the main stairwells of the building. The hike up took a little bit, but after a few magic tricks for a locked door or two, we arrived at roof by sunset. I was eager to grab footage so I put up the drone and got to filming as my friend “E” climbed the spire first. We then swapped and I flew the drone up and filmed myself, taking one of my favorite self-portraits ever.
We ended the night by taking a few photos on the roof (see below in thread) including one of me with the front page New York Times article that changed my life. We took the elevator down and walked out, wishing security a warm goodnight. It was a good day at the office.
👏👏👏
TOUCH THE ART
‘En Marcha’ kinetic 3D collage at @anahuacalli. Featuring texturized assets collected by Diego Rivera. This work was created in response to my residency and tours of Rivera’s murals around Mexico City with his grandson.
The things that @flexasaurusrex does for others…
Goddamn, man.
👏👏👏
I found 110 ETH ($239,000) abandoned in dead Ethereum contracts & sent all of it back to the owners.
Stuck for years, recoverable through public functions nobody ever called.
Total gas to return a quarter million dollars: $0.87
Inspired build from a post I saw by @0xFlorent_
Forever too dope
A Journey Up Christ The Redeemer.
We spent the day prior disguised as “tourists” in the crowd taking photos outside the giant monument before wandering off towards some stairs that were off chained off and led down to a quiet secluded area.
In this area, there was room to drop off the side of the mountain into the jungle where we could hide. We decided if we could do the same the next day we could hide out and climb our way back up in the night and bypass much of the initial security.
We put up the drone to grab images of the locking mechanism on a secret door in the statues side. We saw what we believed to be a small padlock, and I had one single pair of lock picks with me.
The next day we put the plan in motion, dropping off from our secret area and hiding on the side of the mountain into the jungle all night until it was time to break for the monument. Up the scaffolding and at the secret door, the picks did the trick and we’d need them once again to access the doors to the arms and head of the statue.
At daybreak with workers below, we made a stealthy climb down and out through a partial jungle area and down railroad tracks to the mountains base. These are some photos from a plan that went off without a hitch.

Appreciation post for @jared_poz @8NAP_ART and @SuperchiefNFT Gallery
The behind the scenes work and mountains they've moved to get more digital art in museums needs to be studied. What a beacon of hope for our field ✨
Big damn love to @batsoupyum for the shout out on the timeline 🫶🫶🫶

Everyone has an opinion about what patronage means and who should be doing what, etc. It's all kind of exhausting tbh
But whatever one's definition, @jared_poz and @SuperchiefNFT are undoubtedly 2 of the best patrons we have around here. Proud to call both friends.
