What happens to your tez when quantum computing challenges today's cryptography?
This week on TezTalks Live, Brandon Langston welcomes Yann Régis-Gianas from Nomadic Labs to explore Quantumnet, the experimental network testing Tezos' path toward quantum-resistant security.
From protecting existing wallets to rethinking consensus and data availability, we discover what it takes to prepare an entire blockchain for the quantum era.

Funny how we rarely think about copper, even though it's practically everywhere, from the wiring in our homes to the power grids keeping our cities running.
Well, copper has now made its way onto Tezos through @metalsofficial, adding another physical commodity to its growing lineup.
We take a closer look at the latest addition and what else has been happening across Tezos in this week's Baking Sheet.

Copper is live on @metalsofficial.
That brings the options up to six: uranium, gold, nickel, cobalt, the Strategic Metals Basket (rare and technology metals), and now copper. Less than a year ago, there was one.
All of them can be accessed and managed in one place, built on Tezos.
The future runs on copper. It powers the modern economy, from EVs and AI data centers to energy infrastructure.
And for the first time, you can access physical copper - round the clock, digitally, from £1.
Introducing a new gateway to copper.
Tokenized copper is now available on metals.io.

Tokenizing uranium was the hard part. Getting people to actually use it is the next challenge.
Our latest Tezos Spotlight article looks at how xU3O8 has been building its path to adoption since launch, from custody with Hex Trust and Anchorage to trading on Kraken.

How to play 👇
Sending to a name instead of a tz1/tz2 is the obvious one, subdomains are also a useful feature, but my favourite part is that lots of platforms recognize your .tez when you connect your wallet and show your name/profile right away.
What else do you use yours for? 👀
I’m curious: what are you actually using your Tezos domain for? 👀
Besides owning the name, what benefits do you get from it?
Are you using it for wallet addresses, profile information, subdomains, a decentralized website, or an IPFS-based art portfolio?
I’m trying to understand the real-world value of a .tez domain, especially for artists, and whether it’s worth the annual renewal fee.
Share your experience! ✨
Today is the final day to submit your art on Tezos After Dark.
Excited to see what the Tezos art community cooks up!
