It is shameful how little the government is saying here. As the employer that has responsibility for workplace health and safety, and given that we fund the CAF, this is absolutely unacceptable.
NEW: 25 injured CAF members remain hospitalized after the CFB Wainwright fire. That's only 2 less than the number two weeks ago
DND released a statement today on this, three days after we asked for an update
In the last update provided, two weeks ago, 13 were in a critical condition. We asked for an update on this number. It was not included in the statement provided.
4 hospitalized members have been transferred to healthcare facilities closer to their home communities in British Columbia and Ontario, they said.

The big lesson of the Biden years is that you have to prosecute these people. You can’t just move on. You need to make the next generation of grifters and hate mongers scared for their lives.
I’m in Texas right now and me and the bartender just hugged and cheered and the drunk racist at the bar glowered. This is the America I grew up loving.
I’m going to be in Texas on Tuesday (just for work not for the election) and people keep saying “wow you could be there when Texas goes blue”. No. No I won’t be. Texas is not blue, lol. Good luck to him, though!

NYT: James Talarico’s internals are within the margin of error.
Some recent public surveys show Talarico either tied with Paxton or within the margin of error with a 2-point lead.
The candidate’s internal polls match those tighter surveys, people close to Talarico said, and may not be fully capturing the sentiments of rural conservative voters who support Trump.

I love to start a pasta sauce eight hours early just because then I can spend my afternoon running errands and looking up in the sky for the helicopter like I’m Henry Hill.

There we go. Toronto voters can smell a fraud, sorry Brad. I liked you a lot back when you were a completely different politician just a few years ago.
Congrats to mayor Chow. Now let’s get to work.
Is there a reason there are no Toronto results more than half an hour after the polls closed? Late voting somewhere?
I am not a huge Chow fan either. I genuinely like her as a person, I think she’s a work in progress as a mayor, and I’ve been disappointed.
But! I live in Bradford’s ward, and I have seen enough to know he’s solely about himself and I don’t trust him. Can’t vote for him.
This was a lot of fun. Thanks to @NoLore for taking the time to join us. Also we say “cack” a lot….
Check out this (perhaps too) high octane CanCon episode where I explain the Quebec election to a patient @TheGameSheet elbows-up.simplecast.com/epi…
Anyone got a good Raptors Twitter list you can share? I find that’s the only way to exist on this app
