Herd w/Colin Cowherd

We only get @BillSimmons on the show once in a blue moon To celebrate, here's his entire 26-minute long discussion with @ColinCowherd

"The Giants are a really good situation for him... It's a lot of people who have a little bit of a chip on their shoulder. There's a humility through that entire building. I think he needed a little bit of that." @colincowherd & @robertmays discuss J.J. McCarthy's resurgence

"Any Chicagoan will tell you that the one Super Bowl for the '85 Bears was bigger than the 6 NBA championships for the Bulls... The Bears own Chicago." @colincowherd & @DannyParkins talk Caleb Williams' impact on the Bears and Chicago

What are the best bets for this weekend's NFL schedule? @colincowherd lays it out with his Blazin' 5 picks for Week 9 🤑

"Sometimes a business owner has to bottom out. Losing to the fire sale Colts, I think then you can stop pretending coaching doesn't matter." @colincowherd explains why he is rooting for the Colts to beat Brian Schottenheimer's Cowboys soundly

"New England and Green Bay - These are the two best examples of what franchise quarterbacks are." @colincowherd talks Drake Maye and Jordan Love

"That's the best team in the AFC." 👀 @colincowherd on how Liam Coen has transformed Trevor Lawrence & the Jaguars

"You've got to learn how to deal with failure & you also have to learn how to deal with success and all the pressures that come with success. He's settled into a rhythm now." @colincowherd & Eric Mangini on how Patriots QB Drake Maye turned his season around

"Availability? I don't get that with Lamar. Communication? Way below-average. Organization? Walking around on eggshells. I'm not interested." @colincowherd explains why he'd be skeptical to pay Lamar Jackson top money

"Very rarely am I interested in watching a quarterback who's young with a losing record for a franchise that is historically a non-factor. But the Browns & Shedeur Sanders this weekend does interest me." @colincowherd on Shedeur's first start of the season

"I don't like committees picking my playoffs. The one downside to college football is not the transfer portal or NIL. It's that you have to politick to boosters, players, to the committee." @colincowherd on Curt Cignetti's comments on the CFP committee

"There are 6 quarterbacks in this league that are just different... Caleb's the only one that doesn't have to carry something. He's got the most complete team." @colincowherd on Caleb Williams & the Bears' Super Bowl chances

"If you look at the numbers it's even greater than you remember. 19 years, 17 division titles... Kansas City Chiefs - They're not halfway there yet and they're already flailing." @colincowherd discusses the Patriots dynasty ahead of Tom Brady's return to Foxborough

"The fascinating part about Wemby isn't the box score. Bigs have never really fascinated us when they dominate the league. Tim Duncan didn't. Giannis didn't. Jokic doesn't... It's a 60-year trend." @colincowherd on another dominant night from Wemby

"That championship window is real. You have to go get it when it's there to be got. If you don't, you never know when that opportunity is going to come around again." @colincowherd & @DarylJohnston on if the Seahawks should make a trade for a WR2 behind JSN

"Gratitude, humility, adult, very serious. That's why I'm excited to watch him. It's not that he was a bad kid but he was unserious and jokey and goofy. I don't want that from my quarterback." @colincowherd is impressed with Shedeur Sanders' growing maturity

"Big non conference games are going extinct. It's like the albino tiger. The committee since 2014 has taken those rare, precious, beautiful animals and they've taken them out back and shot them." @colincowherd & @joelklatt on Notre Dame & the CFP committee

"There's two levels of franchise quarterbacks... I'd absolutely pay C.J. Stroud whatever I had to. I would struggle to pay Bryce Young what he wants." @colincowherd explains why Stroud is a top-tier QB and Young is not

"I'm going to do to Jerry what American voters did to Republicans last night. I'm going to rebuke his coaching policies. It's absolute nonsense." @colincowherd doesn't buy what Jerry Jones is selling

"Indiana has a loss, how are they 7 spots ahead? ... Notre Dame is 11 and a touchdown favorite over the unbeaten number 1 team in the country." @colincowherd tries to make sense of the first CFP rankings

"I've been really impressed with Aaron this year... Now that he's playing from the pocket he's totally in control." @colincowherd & @TomBrady discuss Aaron Rodgers & the Steelers
