An Elite Basketball Player
Ty Jerome can’t jump over a phone book and might be the slowest guard in the NBA baseline to baseline but he has all
• Plays with pace
• Has no weak hand
• Can make any shot
• Has an Extremely High IQ
45 pts
People are going to hate on this stat but THIS is what they drafted him to do
He is Allen Iverson with his approach, not Steve Nash
Not every team in the league needs a dude to score like this, but the Kings did, and they picked the right guy
Darius Acuff Jr. has the most shot attempts in NBA history through the first 3 games of a player’s career with 74
He’s also the first player to attempt at least 20 shots in each of his first 3 career games
Game 1: 24 FGA
Game 2: 26 FGA
Game 3: 23 FGA

This was a really telling statement from
Brad Underwood who constantly has some of the toughest teams in the country
“We will do 4, 5, or 6 REBOUNDING drills every day in practice”
If you want something, you have to emphasize it

Absolutely LOVE that Tyran Stokes is answering the bell against one of the best teams in basketball
He has a lot of haters, and will have some highs and lows, but it feels like he picked the perfect coach to play for
Top 10 talent when it clicks

Me: “Don’t work on 700 dribble combo moves, it never works”
Also me: “Let me see what the Timberwolves did tonight, God they are fun to watch”

JoJo Tugler should get a statue when he is done at Houston
Has been a part of so much winning and he embodies everything that Houston Cougar Basketball is about
Very well could be the National DPOY this season

This is when we knew he was going to be a good pro
Just a world class athlete and extremely hard worker

Happy to see Marquette with a much improved team this year
The transition into the new era of NIL
and Agents was not an easy one for Shaka Smart but he is STILL an elite leader of Men
It looks like they have an NCAA Tournament team brewing once again

There are certainly some cons to the new era of College Basketball but one MAJOR pro is guys like Patrick Ngongba, fringe first rounders a year ago, came back to school
SO much talent in College Basketball this season and HIGH. LEVEL. HOOPS.

This kind of atmosphere for an Exhibition game, regardless of who it is against, is INSANE
You gotta love Blue Blood Basketball Programs
One of the biggest factors to a successful season is keeping your core healthy
If you are able to make it through the season without a serious injury like this to a star player, you are lucky
This is horrible for JDub and the Thunder
Prayers up 🙏

Not sure why this is always such a hot take, but if I am drafting by position, Devin Booker is the first 2 guard I am picking
There is a reason Team USA couldn’t take him off the floor - He is a winner and can get you 40, like last night, when needed

What value can BC possibly get from scrimmaging MIT?
Love Luke Murray, & his whole staff, but this is a waste of time
You don’t have to go to Kansas but at least play Stony Brook
This creates as false sense of confidence and doesn’t even count as a win

When a young player, like Kiyan Anthony, has a rough patch like he has had the first few Exhibition Games, it’s like a National Holiday on the App
When players bounce back and have success, it’s always crickets
Like Bronny, Kiyan didn’t ask to have a Hall of Fame Dad, and by all accounts he is a great kid and hard worker
His timeline and journey may be different, but not sure why everyone gets so much enjoyment piling on 18-19 year olds when they struggle

Mercy Miller is everything that is right in College Basketball
He has had to work for EVERYTHING through multiple years at Houston, has had to improve defensively, & has sat behind some talented older players on winning teams
Now it’s HIS time to shine💫
