🚨Sometimes you have to wait your turn.🚨 you hear it all the time control what you can control! Young QBs, sometimes it’s the coaches decision. And all you can do is work wait, stay positive, and encouraging with your team, get on the field however you can… even if that’s at long snapper 🤣 But when your opportunity comes… now your job is to prove your coaches wrong. Allow me just a minute to say how proud I am of @MicahMcCown7 this kid is built different.. throws it different, thinks about the game different, has a confidence, poise, mental toughness that is different. In the season finale his opportunity came early in the 2nd Qtr. Hasn’t played meaningful snaps all yr or received meaningful practice reps.. again coaches choice, and that’s fine.. they have decisions to make and they’re not always easy ones.. but they’re not always right either. And your job is to be ready to prove him wrong. Believe in yourself, no complaining or griping.. just preparing in the shadows, keeping your powder dry and your sword sharp. Control what you can control Can’t wait to post this film in a few days. Back shoulder throws, big posts, digs, seams, etc. Like a seasoned vet.. he put them all out there. 4TDs off the bench in 2.5 quarters in your first action all season to try and drag your team back into a game that was getting away early.. gritty and tough
