CFDs and Perpetual Futures are actually quite similar, but need to understand the fundamental difference how they work Let me explain you without complicated trading terms Imagine an iPhone is worth $1,000 With CFDs: You walk into a shop and tell the shopkeeper, I think the iPhone price will increase The shopkeeper checks what iPhones are selling for in the real market and offers you a deal based on $1,000 If the price goes to $1,100, you earn $100. If it drops to $900, you lose $100 You never actually buy the iPhone You’re simply making a price-based agreement with the shopkeeper The shopkeeper is like your CFD broker. He offers the buying and selling prices, usually based on prices in the wider market Now with Perps: Instead of going to a shopkeeper, imagine entering a huge marketplace with thousands of people. Some believe iPhone prices will rise, others believe they’ll fall One person offers to buy a price-based contract at $990. Another offers to sell at $1,010 When someone agrees to the other’s price, a trade happens Here, the exchange is like the marketplace operator. It brings buyers and sellers together You’re still not buying the actual iPhone. You’re trading a contract linked to its value So what’s the real difference? CFD: You typically make a deal with a broker who quotes prices based on the wider market Perps: You typically trade contracts in a marketplace where buy and sell orders determine the trading price Perps also have something called funding payments, which help keep the contract price close to the real asset price Similar concept, Different mechanics

"It opened only the affiliate link of the firm selected by the trader." No. I selected YOUR profile page, and Chrome shows the link destination right in the video. It was your own page, not Vest. I clicked Decline on your cookie banner. I clicked your profile. The tab I was on got sent to Vest through your affiliate link, and a new tab opened your page on top so I'd never notice. Then I went to Vest myself through Google, and your code MATCH was already sitting at checkout. "User-initiated click." "Low single-digit percentage." Stop downplaying it. The video speaks for itself.
Update from Prop Firm Match | 2 November 2026 Over the past few days, many claims have been shared about Prop Firm Match, many of them before the full facts were available. Rather than respond to each one, we want to set the record straight with the facts our review has established so far. This first update covers the referral redirect we disabled on 29 October. What happened When traders clicked on firm names or “Copy Code” in certain sections of our website, the interaction also opened the relevant firm's affiliate link. We disabled this functionality on 29 October. What we have established so far Based on our technical review to date: • It did not operate without a user-initiated click. • It opened only the affiliate link of the firm selected by the trader. • It did not involve hidden iframes or invisible pixels. • It operated within PFM's own website code and was not deployed on partner websites or through PFM badges or widgets on third-party sites. • It did not change the prices traders paid or discounts they received. • If a trader later clicked another affiliate’s link or used that affiliate’s code, under most of the attribution models reviewed, the sale would be credited to the last click or code used. The potential impact Our early, modelled estimate indicates that the potential impact on referral attribution represents a low single-digit percentage of the commissions Prop Firm Match earned, varying from partner to partner. These are preliminary findings, not final figures. For each firm that takes part, we will review the findings individually to assess any potential impact specific to that firm. What we're doing We are inviting every firm we have worked with, both current and former partners, to review our findings against their own records. Prop Firm Match continues to operate as normal. We encourage everyone to rely on verified information as our review continues. Our full updates are available here: propfirmmatch.com/statement

You mentioned that under “most attribution models,” the last click or code used gets the credit. A few questions: What exactly qualifies as “most” here? 51%, 70%, 90%? How many attribution models were reviewed, and what percentage follow this approach? This thing has affected commision of an small creator how PFM gonna compensate them? And still PFM doesn't given any explanation how this " scam " happened because they knew what they were doing!

As a former dev, I’m not buying this explanation lol. Affiliate redirects require deliberate implementation, whether through JavaScript event handlers, redirect logic, or tracking parameters. That code had to be written, tested, and deployed. Intent is debatable, but this wasn’t some random browser glitch. Pretty shady behavior for a platform preaching transparency. It’s no wonder they turned off their comments. Enjoy cock meat sandwiches.
Three years ago, Prop Firm Match launched. Two traders saw a gap in the market for a platform providing simplicity and transparency for prop firm traders. We developed new features not seen before: verified reviews, payout tracking across all payment methods, live spreads, rule overviews, simple ways to compare prop firms, and prop firm expos. Three years in, PFM has had over 25M website visits, reached over 370,000 members, and has given out free challenge accounts worth over $1,400,000 to the PFM community. Over 100 firms apply to be listed each year and go through one of the industry’s most rigorous compliance processes. We also got something wrong. Until yesterday, when someone clicked on a firm or a code on our site, a new tab would open the firm’s site through our affiliate link. This should not have happened. We take full responsibility for it. We have reached out to each of our partners to review this together and reconcile any inaccuracies. We respect any decisions firms have made based on this. We truly appreciate the partners and traders who value the relationship we have built together over the years. We promise you that we will learn from this, hold ourselves to the highest standard, and come back stronger and better.

An update for our community: Traders Launch ended its affiliate partnership with Prop Firm Match yesterday. We appreciate the support from their community over the years, but with this current situation ongoing we chose to end the partnership. Hearing some other firms paid to be on their leaderboards was a surprise to us, as we were lucky enough to rise to the top 10 organically. Transparency is essential, and we'll be doing an audit of all affiliates and comparison websites that currently have us listed.
