"What I do not think people realize is how drastically different things would be if Elon had not bought the platform.
I do not think people understand the magnitude of what happened. I was shadow-banned on the platform for many years, and to this day, I still do not know what I did. I was also shadow-banned on other platforms.
I later discovered that they did not like people speaking about their religion, politics, or practically anything. That is a frightening place for any society to be. If a society reaches that point, it is probably approaching the end of the road.
I think Elon may be the only person at that level who is still genuinely practical. I do not really know the others, but when someone is that wealthy and does not have to care about these issues, yet chooses to care anyway, it is significant.
He could simply focus on his companies if he wanted to. He did not have to do this. But he bought a platform to ensure that we could speak freely and say what was in our hearts.
We may never fully understand what an enormous blessing that was. I wanted to make sure he knew that I am grateful."

Some of you may have met my wife. But I'd like to introduce her to you all.
Without Evelyn, this event wouldn't be possible. She introduced me to Tesla, and she believed in Elon's vision of autonomous cars long before I ever did.
She has stood by me through thick and thin, and she's supported me and this Tesla community in ways many of you will never see. She's my heartbeat and my world. Without her, this community wouldn't be what it is today.
Words can't express my gratitude. I thank God for my wife every day.
Evelyn is the most selfless person I know. She never does things for credit. She takes care of people quietly, whether it's our family, our friends, or someone she barely knows. And she homeschools our four kids with a patience and love I couldn't match on my best day.
This may be news for some of you, but Evelyn has been battling triple-negative breast cancer since August of last year.
She has endured chemo, surgery, and radiation, and the fight is not over. There have been days that were painful and days that were frightening, and through every one of them she has stayed kind, held onto her faith, and kept showing up for other people. I am honored to serve her and to walk beside her through this.
If you pray, please keep my wife in your prayers. Pray for her healing, her strength, and her peace. It means more to us than you know.
Evelyn, you are my greatest blessing. Thank you for everything you do, seen and unseen. I love you. This community is better because of you, and so am I.
