The physical economy is being rebuilt from the ground up. We back relentless founders applying technology to the systems that run it: critical minerals, infrastructure and energy, manufacturing, logistics and transportation, and commerce infrastructure.
🛜 Every machine that leaves a factory is a software release sitting on top of hardware, and either one can fail. A robot, an EV, or a drone gets new firmware every few weeks. It also depends on thousands of components, down to the wire harness that ties it together.
Software teams spent two decades building pipelines that test every change before it ships. On most hardware lines, testing is still bespoke rigs and spreadsheets. This week’s Kaspersky research is a reminder that the device nobody tested is the one that gets you.
