American kids are dying by s*icide after being sextorted.
Sextortion is one of the fastest-growing threats facing teens in America, and most parents have no idea how it works. It comes in three main forms:
Sexually motivated: they want more images. It most often targets girls.
Financially motivated: they want money. These predators often pose as a girl to get a teenage boy to send one image, then threaten to share it unless he pays.
Sadistically motivated: they want to see a child suffer. They force kids to hurt themselves or others, and they record it.
1 in 5 teens say they’ve experienced it, and about 77% never told their parents.
Predators depend on that silence.
You can break it.
Talk with your son or daughter tonight and make sure they know they can always come to you, no matter what. Try saying: “If this ever happens, come to me. No matter what you’ve sent or what anyone threatens, please tell me. We will get through this together.”

Sextortion is one of the fastest growing crimes in America and it doesn’t just target one thing.
For girls, it often looks like this: a predator gets one image, then blackmails her for more.
For boys, it’s financially motivated. A predator poses as a young girl, gets an explicit photo, then: “I got you.” About 90% of these victims are boys with scholarships, reputations, something to lose.
Too many kids have taken their own lives because of this — primarily boys caught in financially motivated sextortion, believing their world was over, humiliated, ashamed, carrying guilt they never should have had to carry alone.
Have this conversation with your son or daughter before they need it. Tell them: no matter what happens, I love you. There is nothing you could do that would ever stop that. You can always come to me.
That conversation — said in advance — is what gives them a way out.
Head to timtebowfoundation.org/while… for the tools to have that conversation tonight.

Predators are working together right now to reach children through their phones.
They’re patient.
They’re skilled.
And most parents have no idea it’s happening.
If God has put kids in your care, protecting them is part of loving them. That means paying attention to who they’re talking to and asking the hard questions, even when it’s uncomfortable. And having grace for whatever you find.
You don’t have to be a tech expert. Our free family guide covers how to set up controls, which apps to know, and what to say to your kid: give.timtebowfoundation.org/…

Inheritance is what you leave for people.
Legacy is what you leave in them.
Most of us spend a lifetime building things to hand down — money, property, a plan.
Far less time goes into what actually stays with people after we're gone.
One is inheritance.
The other is legacy.
They're not the same thing, and only one of them takes real intention to build.
Here’s how sextortion works.
A predator gets an explicit image of a child, real or faked with AI, and uses it as a weapon. But not every predator wants the same thing, and what they want tells you which kind of sextortion it is:
•Sexually motivated: they want more images. It most often targets girls.
•Financially motivated: they want money. These predators often pose as a girl to get a teenage boy to send one image, then threaten to share it unless he pays.
•Sadistically motivated: they want to see a child suffer. They force kids to hurt themselves or others, and they record it.
No matter which kind it is, the predator is counting on your child’s silence. One conversation can break that.

You don't have to have it all figured out.
Following God isn't always about seeing the whole plan.
Even after I've prayed, studied, and asked people I trust, sometimes I still don't have perfect clarity.
That's okay.
You don't need the whole picture — just the next step.
Whatever you're up against today, you're not fighting it alone.
