LIVE at @RippleSwell: Over the past month, the number of agentic payments on the XRPL has tripled. New additions to the XRPL like Batch Transactions and x402 give agents the tools to communicate, process complex logic, and transact autonomously. However, agentic commerce still faces an onboarding problem: - Agents need an easy way to create and fund wallets - Merchants need to set up endpoints and integrate x402 to service agents Joel Mun, Sr. Developer Relations @Ripple, demonstrated OneClickx402, an easy onboarding tool for agents and merchants to connect to the XRPL, powered by @privy_io. Through the app, users can create a wallet for their agent, fund it in just a few clicks, and draw a line of credit for their agent to use. On the other side, merchants can easily create x402 compatible endpoints which make them viewable to agents.

JUST IN at @RippleSwell in NYC: David Schwartz, Co-Founder and CTO of @Ripple, sits down to talk through Ripple's early days, how crypto has changed over the past 10yrs, and the main challenges the industry still has to overcome. Moving forward, Schwartz views AI as the biggest threat to blockchains over next 5-10yrs. As AI gets better, networks will need to update their security systems to ensure that applications and funds remain safe. Attacks from AI hackers may come from weaknesses that developers never saw coming. In terms of architectures, Schwartz argues that simplicity will always beat complexity and that the XRPL's semi-rigid developer ecosystem gives it an edge over other open smart contract networks.

JUST IN at Link:NYC by @chainlink : AJ Macey, Managing Director of Financial Infrastructure @Anchorage sits down with @imyoungsparks to discuss @Anchorage's new crypto settlement network, Atlas. "Institutions are interested because the space is maturing. Institutions now have the plumbing to interact with onchain markets. Everyone knows there are great pools of liquidity but its hard for institutions to interact with them. We're changing that with our partnership with Chainlink."

LIVE at Link:NYC by @chainlink: Anthony Apollo (Executive Director of the Wyoming Stable Token Commission), Steven Goldfeder (CEO of @Offchain), Yoshi Yokokawa (CEO of @AlpacaHQ) and Steve Gregory (CEO of @BinanceUS) debate stablecoins and the future of onchain money. Key takeaways include: - Stablecoins are still in the early innings of adoption, especially in the US. There will be an expansion of new stablecoins coming online which will drive up competition beyond USDT and USDC. - 24/7 settlement can currently only be handled through stablecoins. Banks and institutions are still too slow. - The next challenge will be chain interoperability. A dollar on one chain needs to equate to a dollar on another chain and users need to have the same experience across every chain.

LIVE at Stellar Meridian: Jamie Walker, Head of Digital Assets and Money Movement at @USBank: "One of the reasons we chose Stellar, at surface level, was asset freezing and clawback capabilities. We need [that] because we put regulated money onchain, and so theres table stakes in place so we can put assets onchain. What has to be true, so a bank can put a dollar on a public blockchain, is resilience and trust. If you're down for a minute, the confidence is lost instantly."

LIVE at Ripple SWELL: Bernhard Kronfellner, Partner & Associate Director @BCG - Banks and institutions are moving from managed custody to self custody. They want to hold the assets themselves. - Security and regulatory compliance are the most important requirements for digital asset custody. "The time for one size fits all solutions is over. Digital asset custody should look different for a fintech vs a large bank"

LIVE at Stellar Meridian: Denelle Dixon, CEO at @StellarOrg, and Anthony Scaramucci, @SkyBridge: 3 key takeaways 👇 • Regulation is the biggest bottleneck. Scaramucci expects tokenized assets onchain to grow from ~$39B to closer to $100B within a year. Companies are holding back because of regulatory pressure, and global regulators are waiting on US law so they can match it. • Equities are where adoption takes off. He also argues 24/7 trading will reduce volatility over the long term. • Cutting out intermediaries is the big prize. Credit, wire and banking fees add up to roughly $4T, and blockchain could cut that by half or more. His comparison: paying $3 for a phone call then, versus FaceTime now.

LIVE at Stellar Meridian: Aylwin Tan, CapitaLand Investment and Elizabeth Yenko, New York Life Investment Management Alywin: We have funds organized by asset groups like homes or hotels, funds by geographies like in Asia and Europe. The question we ask when using tokenization is how do we uncover a new group of investors. We are running a business with existing channels and partenrs, so for us, how do we ensure existing partners and issuers can plug into it. Elizabeth: Wee have established distribution channels, so for us with tokenized assets, its in the best interest to work with onchain ecosystems who have the experience and expertise. Traditional channels aren't asking them for tokenized products or digital assets, but that will evolve and change over the next set of years.

LIVE at Stellar Meridian: Luke Tuttle, CPTO at @MoneyGram: "The biggest reason clients choose to use Stellar is trust. However, [at the end of the day], the customer doesn't care about the technology. They just want to be able to store a balance and can easily access funds."

LIVE at Stellar Meridian: Doni Shamsuddin, Head of APAC at @BNYglobal Investments • Settlement in APAC currently takes up to T+7. Tokenization can bring that down to T+1 or even T+0, which is why partnerships matter so much. • On what takes tokenization from billions to trillions: in APAC, regulation is both the biggest challenge and the biggest catalyst. "Once we see clarity around regulation, TradFi institutions especially will come on board and move onchain."
