I was genuinely so excited today when I discovered that Pindar Van Arman (@VanArman) had placed a bid on one of my photographs on Manifold. I can't tell you how much that means to me! 🥹
But that excitement quickly turned into frustration when I realized what I'd done.
I somehow managed to set the auction to end in January 2030 instead of 24 hours after the first bid. Yes, you read that correctly. 2030.
And it's entirely my fault.
Now that Pindar has placed his bid, Manifold won't let me edit the auction or cancel it. So here I am, incredibly happy that he's interested in collecting my work and equally frustrated with myself for making such a ridiculous mistake.
I've already reached out to @manifoldxyz support, hoping there's some way to fix this.
Otherwise, I guess Pindar and I have just committed ourselves to the longest auction in the history of my photography career.
Three more years. THREE. 😩

Only way I can see social media continuing to exist is to:
1) Have accounts with proof of identity,
