Ms Kanchan Prasad, Director General, @CBC_MIB, met Mr Pedro Barbosa, President, Investment Board, Audiovisual Industry and Commerce Federation (FICA), in São Paulo today.
The discussions focused on expanding India–Brazil cooperation in the audiovisual sector, including film co-production, investment partnerships and greater collaboration between the creative industries of the two countries.
DG also invited the Brazilian audiovisual industry to participate in the upcoming International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa and the World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES), to be held in Mumbai in 2027.

As discussões concentraram-se na ampliação da cooperação entre a Índia e o Brasil no setor audiovisual, incluindo a coprodução de filmes, parcerias de investimento e uma maior colaboração entre as indústrias criativas de ambos os países.
A Diretora-Geral também convidou a indústria audiovisual brasileira a participar do próximo Festival Internacional de Cinema da Índia (IFFI), em Goa, e do World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES), que será realizado em Mumbai, em 2027.
