While more costly than busses, rail offers comfort, convenience, and accessibility that shuttles simply cannot. Regardless of whether it ends up being rail or BRT. This connection is incredibly important. We hope to be able to bring bikes with. #railMeFromRSTtoMSP
"It would make Rochester and Mayo a more competitive workplace. Physicians want access to a large metro area and don’t want to have to drive there, and a fast rail connection between the two would do just that." minnpost.com/community-voice…

Even if you don't live/work/visit our community, this impacts you. What is successful in Rochester will be successful in smaller cities and larger cities, urban areas and suburban areas. This is the largest private investment in state history. The accessibility matters. 🚶🚴🦽

This process needs to include community voices. It needs to be informed by community needs and not stand in contradiction to over a decade of community informed City Comprehensive plans. Mayo's Unbound investment can be good, but it needs some work.
