I'm feeling pretty good about #NaNoWriMo this year! I've just passed over 9k words, and although I need to clean it up, I feel very good about it.

After taking nearly two years off from here, blogging, and writing, I'm back!
The past two years have been pretty terrible for my mental health, but I'm trying to take back my joy through my love for writing and creating.
Slowly easing back into writing, but happy to be here!
I wanted to try something different for my writing group, because they suggested we work on one project throughout.
I've decided to write a book about travelling and anxiety. I'm not sure how they idea will work or go, but I feel like it's authentic.

Tonight, I was remembering when I wrote a poem for a class about my relationship.
My professor read and analyzed it, telling me it was heartbreaking. I was confused as I thought it was sweet.
In reality, it showed the truth I hadn’t wanted to face yet.

I was unhappy and changing myself to stay in the relationship.
After the relationship ended, I read the poem again and saw the sadness and heartbreak.
It was then when I realized how power writing could be.
