6 months and 29 paces later, @zackisinthebox and I just became the first people ever to beat Mario Odyssey in under 56 minutes.
This feels absolutely insane - thank you so much to everyone who’s stuck with us, but we are NOT stopping here <3
Not a PB, but a cool run I got last night 3:00:23 youtu.be/w76CSdtYFqg?si=ZAC9…

If every single Pokemon had max PP Rapid Spin 4 times each (The attack with the most PP)
and 1-shot a lion every time they swung
they would all run out of PP and die to Struggle before they ran out of lions.
over 3000 times over.

For the first time in over 4 years, 2P is officially the fastest category once again.
This was genuinely the LAST attempt of the year, and it could not have been a more fitting way to end it. Now 2P is back on top, we have one more goal:
55.
Thanks @zackisinthebox :)

I FUCKING DID IT YESSS THIS WAS THE HARDEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE MANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
have any other speedrunners experienced boredom while playing their supposed "favorite category" after getting good at it to the point where a lot of the gameplay feels automatic?
Probably goes without saying, but my summer darker side grind has come to an end. Going into this year of school, I might do 2p any%, 1p any%, 2p darker side, 1p darker side, sms, or nslu. We'll see 🙂
