I find it weird how sometimes I commission a artists and when I receive the final product they don't say anything they just dump it on my lap and walk away. Like I'll praise the work and thank them but I still dont get a response.

Like if I just sent a thumbs up emoji or a 'ok' wouldn't that be rude? Idk just a tidbit i felt like talking about because it happened twice in a row with two different artists. They sent the art with no text and didn't respond to my final message.

i see a artists who scammed me starting fresh. it feels bad if i posted something about them if they actually changed. but i doubt they did. idk i guess i should leave it be, feels bad for me. but if they had any bit of honesty to their excuses then i would rather leave it be.

With how many times ive been scammed and or ghosted in the past. you'd think id see the pattern by now. getting really tired of losing money and being dragged along with empty words and not even a wip. need to do what i keep saying and only comm the same people from now on.

its not like im being picky or rushing. i think depending on the commission, asking for a wip on a fullbody no background after 3 months is vaild. but not getting a single thing after 8 months is just down right insane.

makes me sad even saying this because if i comm them that means i value their art and would WANT to do so again in the future, but waiting so long makes me want my money back more than the art, because even if i get it after a year it just feels dirted by the memory of waiting.
