This scam is actually crazy.
Scammers managed to make people send them $2M themselves without a phishing link, without stealing seed phrases, and without โhackingโ their wallets.
They built a fake GIWA Mainnet.
Then they used the real GIWA Chain ID: 9134.
So when users added the network to their wallets, everything looked normal.
Then they launched a fake bridge.
People connected their wallets, entered their ETH, and approved the transactions themselves.
The catch?
Nothing was being bridged to GIWA.
The ETH was going straight to wallets controlled by the scammers.
By the time people figured it out, around $2M was gone.
That's the scary part.
You don't always have to get hacked to lose your crypto.
Sometimes the scammer just has to make the fake thing look real enough for you to click "Confirm."
Crypto really teaches you to verify EVERYTHING.

My dad told me when I was 10:
โThe journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Study hard, and youโre preparing yourself for the future.โ
15 years later, I updated it to:
The journey of a thousand miles begins with the intention to reach a thousand miles.
Because before the first step, there has to be a mindset that says, Iโm going somewhere.
$1 in trading isnโt a lot of money.
But it can be Day 1 of a journey toward $10M.
Or it can buy you some candy, give you five minutes of happiness, and disappear.
The money isnโt the point. The decision behind it is.
Every big outcome starts as a small decision made by someone who already sees where theyโre going.

Supermarkets claim they can't compete with Mamdani's prices and that these stores shouldn't be allowed.

Proof is proof. ๐๐
Whether the project still exists or not.
Now seriously...
A while ago, I was in charge of selecting new workers for a gaming project. [That project is already shut down btw ๐ญ.]
I saw a lot of people submitting proof of work from projects that no longer existed. Some were projects I'd never even heard of.
My first instinct was to dismiss them.
Then I remembered something.
Years ago, an Asian developer hired me even though I had almost no experience. She paid me $400 a week just to attend X Spaces once a week, take notes on everything that was discussed, and proofread her speeches because English wasn't her first language.
Someone took a chance on me.
So I decided to take a chance on a few of those applicants.
To my surprise, I learned a lot from them.
Some of them had worked on genuinely impressive projects. Others had built solid careers before things fell apart. They weren't inexperienced. They had simply gone through setbacks and were trying to find their way back.
I know it's much harder now because people can fake portfolios and forge proof of work.
But I'd rather give a few deserving strangers the benefit of the doubt than overlook someone who just needs one person to believe in them.
Sometimes, all it takes is one opportunity.

ONCE UPON A TIME....
THINGS WERE MUCH DIFFERENT FROM NOW
Man.... I miss the old crypto.
Not because it was easier, but because of how it made people feel.
It didn't matter if you were a complete newbie or someone who had been around since the early days. If you were willing to learn, stay consistent, and put in the work, there was always a place for you.
The timeline was full of crazy social experiments.
Someone would drop a form under a post, ask everyone to stay awake a little longer, complete a few tasks, or simply be active. Hours later, people were posting screenshots of rewards worth $1,000, $5,000, sometimes even $30,000.
It felt unreal, but it was real.
Back then, nobody cared what chain you were on.
There were no Solana maxis.
- No $TON maxis.
- No Ethereum tribes.
And we weren't divided into camps trying to prove who was right.
We were just strangers from different parts of the world, hiding behind beautiful PFPs, hanging out in group chats, on X spaces, sharing alpha, celebrating each other's wins, and somehow making money while having fun.
There was this quiet belief that if one person made it, everyone else could too.
The timelines were full of hope.
The group chats never slept.
People genuinely wanted to see others win.
The money was amazing, but looking back, I don't think that's what made those days special.
It was the friendships.
The excitement every time you refreshed your timeline.
The feeling that you were part of something bigger than yourself.
Somewhere along the way, we stopped building together and started choosing sides.
We traded curiosity for tribalism,
Friendships for engagement farming,
And community for competition.
Sometimes I wonder if what we lost was worth far more than the money.
What happened to us?

Since Telegram took a leading role in TON's development, the chain got 10ร faster, fees 6ร lower.
And now Telegram proposes one more change: renaming Toncoin to Gram - the name from the original TON White Paper that never left the codebase.

Dear @durov ๐
3 years ago, TON DEXs slowly lost their liquidity, volume, and attention.
Communities disappeared.
Builders left.
Many people stopped believing TON could become a real on-chain economy.
Maybe the infrastructure simply wasnโt ready yet.
But recently, for the first time in years, TON feels alive again.
The MTONGA upgrades, near-zero fees, sub-second finality, Telegram becoming the driving force, Cocoon, Mini Apps โ it finally feels like TON is becoming what many of us once imagined.
Not just another blockchain.
A real internet-scale ecosystem connected to hundreds of millions of users.
But there is something important many people inside the community still remember.
Over the past few years, while the Foundation tried to carefully build the ecosystem, countless projects slowly disappeared.
Yes, scams became fewer.
But at the same time, many community-driven ideas, experiments, memes, small teams, and organic projects also died before they even had a chance to grow.
Web3 culture cannot be built only from the top down.
Real ecosystems become alive when communities are allowed to experiment, fail, create, trade, and build strange things organically.
DEXs are not just exchanges.
They are where culture begins.
Liquidity is the blood of an ecosystem.
Communities are the soul.
We understand that Telegram and TON want to protect users and build something sustainable.
But this time, please also leave room for the community to create its own projects again.
Not every important project starts polished.
Not every meaningful movement starts safely.
Sometimes culture starts messy.
For the first time in years, TON feels like it has another real chance.
Please help bring life back to TON DEXs.
And let communities build alongside you this time.
