MegaETH was slashed as it deserved, and the reputation scores of the 1.373 people who vouched for the project tanked overnight. But is this system fair accountability, or does it unfairly punish early supporters? 🤔 What exactly happened? In on-chain reputation protocols (@ethos_network), vouching for a project or leaving a positive review isn’t just dropping an emoji; it’s putting your own reputation (and even financial stake) on the line for that project. When the slash decision for MegaETH passed, the reputation scores of 1.373 early supporters were wiped—including @bread_ (−50 pts), @Lamboland_ (−20 pts), @katexbt, @SteveKBark, and @jpeg_yakuza. I think it’s fair. But why? For years, Web3 has suffered from a KOL/Influencer culture where people shill and run, promoting projects they don’t stand behind or that fail to deliver, all while taking zero responsibility. On-chain reputation systems effectively say: "If you praise a project, you must also share the cost of its failure or collapse." From this perspective, it’s a great filter against blind shilling. Conclusion: "Social proof" in Web3 is no longer free. If you place your reputation next to a project, you are also buying into the slashing risk that project might face tomorrow. ⚔️ Hault of Ages oyununa erken erişim için @39093xyz tarafından "The Plague Year" oyunu aktif hale geldi. haultofages.online/s/0xCoina…
