OPUS 5.5 + FABLE 5.5 + OPENAI DOTS: 60 minutes, and a business doing $100k a month...
Karpathy coined vibe coding. this is what it looks like when 4 agents do the vibing for you
4 agents, 24 modules, and a new module passes its tests every 2.5 minutes
two agents run on Opus 5.5. one is the architect writing the spec, the other writes the code and ships it
the product and the copy come from Fable 5.5, and OpenAI Dots handles the data and the evals
nobody waits for anybody. the spec is still being written while the product takes shape, and that overlap is the only reason one hour is possible
the hour runs like a relay: 12 minutes of spec, 12 of product, 14 of data, 22 of code
at minute 10 there are 4 modules passing. at minute 60 there are 24
the site, the API, billing and evals all exist, and the button says live
a team of six needs two weeks and 480 hours for the same first version. the Opus tokens came to $40
when the agents' hourglass ran out, the team's had barely moved
4 agents, one hour, $40, and a business live before your coffee gets cold ↓

HE TURNED $4 MILLION INTO $8.5 BILLION. IN ONE SINGLE TRADE HE MADE A BILLION DOLLARS IN A YEAR. THEN HE SAT DOWN ON CAMERA AND CALLED THE PROCESS PAINFUL.
George Soros. Born in Hungary, 1930. Started the Quantum Fund in 1969 with $4 million.
By the time of this interview it was worth $4.5 billion.
His average return over 26 years: 35% a year. Not one good year. Twenty-six.
In 1992 he bet against the British pound. The fund made around a billion dollars. Charlie Rose asks him about it and Soros brushes it off - he calls it just one of the many things we do.
Then he gives the number that actually matters. Across all his funds in a single year, profit of $3.8 billion.
And then the part nobody expects.
Rose asks what it costs him. Soros says making money in the stock market is a very painful process. Tremendous tension. A deep sacrifice.
He says there was always a large element of pain, because when you are wrong you have to feel that you are wrong. And then correct it.
Rose asks if the pain makes him a better investor. Soros says definitely. Without it you get carried out - you would not notice you had lost your touch, you would stay in the wrong position, and that would be the end of you.
Then the line that kills every fantasy about him. Rose asks whether he ever bet everything. Soros says no. Never. He calls himself a survivor, and says he is a survivor precisely because he avoids those risks.
He pushes to the limit of acceptable risk. Never past it.
At $100 million in 1979 he stopped and asked what it was all for. He started giving it away. By 1994 the Soros foundations had committed roughly a billion dollars, and he was spending 80% of his time on it instead of on money.
His whole philosophy is one sentence: we are all fallible. Not the other guy. You.

ANDREW NG SHOWED 4 STEPS FROM PROMPT TO PRODUCTION AGENT - THE SYSTEM TOOK 12 YEARS AND COST $2.3M TO BUILD
built on 700+ hours of lectures - and in 4 steps he explained what most people never figure out in years
Reflection → Tool Use → Planning → Multi-Agent
step 1 - Reflection - draft, self-critique, revise - cheapest way to raise quality 2x
step 2 - Tool Use - without tools the agent is a confident guesser - tools give facts instead of guesses
step 3 - Planning - plan before acting, replan on failure - a bad plan executed perfectly is still a bad result
step 4 - Multi-agent - Opus 5 plans, Fable 5 executes in parallel - one generalist becomes a team of specialists
the 5th pattern nobody lists - graph amplifies all four - every turn writes what it learned and the next builds on it
if the agent makes mistakes there are 4 steps that fix it and each costs less than the mistake itself

17-YEAR-OLD FROM JAPAN LAUNCHED 6 AI AGENTS IN PARALLEL AND BUILT A FULL 10-FILE PLATFORM IN ONE SESSION - WHILE HIS CLASSMATES WERE DOING HOMEWORK
Ultra Code is not a higher thinking level - it is a team of agents executing all subtasks simultaneously in parallel
he gave one business idea - an AI learning community with 6 research directions - and Ultra Code launched 6 agents in parallel
each agent got its own direction - community platform, course design, sales funnel, content marketing, operations, tech strategy - all running at the same time
after completion a separate agent merged everything into one project - 10 files, HTML pages, CSS, JavaScript - complete deliverable
MVP for $49/month described in the project - and all of this was done by a 17-year-old in one session while his classmates were doing homework
Ultra Code burns tokens fast - but the result that used to take a team a week now takes one hour

every node is a real work session connected to everything related automatically
homework that used to take 6 hours now takes 15 minutes because the brain already knows all the connections between topics

ANTHROPIC DEVELOPER LEAKED A DOCUMENT WORTH $1.7M TO THE COMPANY - AND GOT FIRED THE SAME DAY
at the core is one simple while-loop calls the model, runs tools, repeats - and that one idea changes everything
Permission → Context → Delegate → Persist → Repeat
one loop, five layers, runs without a human 24/7
Permission: 7 access modes - the agent knows exactly how much power it was given and never steps outside it
Context: a five-layer compaction pipeline - the model never loses what matters even across the longest sessions
Delegation: the agent spawns its own subagents per task - nobody hands it a list
Persistence: results written to disk in append mode - the loop never loses memory
Extensibility: MCP, plugins, skills, hooks - any tool connects without rewriting the core
27% of tasks Claude Code completed were work people never even planned to do without it - not acceleration of the existing, but qualitatively new capability
50 pages of open research that changed how I think about agentic systems

THIS DEVELOPER POINTED HIS CONTENT AUTOMATION STACK AT GTA 6 INSTEAD OF CRYPTO - AND IT'S ALREADY OUTPRODUCING BOTH
he doesn't play GTA 6 - he builds tooling for server owners preparing for launch, 6 months before the game even drops
most of it isn't hand-written - he gives Claude a tight prompt for job systems, custom HUDs, NPC dialogue and gets working Lua back in a minute, then wires it, tests it, ships it
the NPC part is where it gets wild - Claude API plugged directly into in-game NPCs - bartenders that gossip about your crimes, cops that interrogate based on your record, shop owners that haggle based on reputation - nobody is shipping that at scale yet
FiveM scripts list for $50-389 and server owners buy them constantly - you're not selling code, you're selling the thing they don't have time to build themselves
GTA Online ran 12 years, players spent $8.6 billion inside it, creators got $0 - no marketplace, no revenue share, nothing
that changed this year - Rockstar bought FiveM, opened a paid marketplace 5 months before launch and is hiring to scale it
no game live yet, no players yet, just an empty marketplace and 6 months of head start - he's building the catalog now

TWO IDENTICAL SERVERS, TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT BUILDS - AND THE WRONG CHOICE COSTS YOU $50,000

second one - 32 drives direct cabled to the motherboard, 400 watt AMD CPU, short risers - built for maximum storage throughput and IO
same server, different heatsink, different riser, different cable setup - and completely different performance for your workload
most people buy the wrong config and wonder why performance disappoints - the chassis looks identical but what's inside determines everything

THIS GIRL TURNED HER OBSIDIAN BRAIN INTO A GRAVITY MAP - AND NOW CHARGES $5,000 FOR THE SYSTEM SHE BUILT FOR HERSELF
most people save links and never open them again - she turned her bookmarks into a heat map where every idea has its own mass
33 topic clusters, every bookmark adds weight to an idea, the more she returns to a topic the bigger the node gets on the graph
Mac Mini runs loops overnight - Claude connects new nodes to existing ones - Obsidian holds everything - and the graph shows what she actually thinks about not what she planned to think about
after 6 months the graph revealed a pattern she never noticed herself - three topics she bookmarked most frequently became the foundation of her agency
now she sells this system to other founders for $5,000 - customized to their business, their bookmarks, their thinking patterns
Obsidian free, Mac Mini $600, Claude $20/month - and a system that shows where your money is before you figure it out yourself
THIS DEVELOPER BUILT A POCKET-SIZED LOCAL AI ASSISTANT THAT EARNS $8,000/MONTH - NO CLOUD, NO SUBSCRIPTIONS
Raspberry Pi, ReSpeaker microphone, small display, speaker - a full voice AI assistant running locally without a single request to OpenAI
llama.cpp running directly on the board - wake-word activation, voice recognition, response in seconds - all on a device the size of a palm
while competitors pay $140-340/month for cloud subscriptions his assistant costs $3-8/month in electricity and handles the same tasks locally
he sells these devices as AI receptionists to local businesses - dental clinics, beauty salons, repair shops - €150-300/month per client
10 clients, €200/month each, zero cost after setup - and the device answers messages while he sleeps
$50 hardware, one afternoon of setup, $8,000/month - and it just works

clients pay $3,000-10,000 per project - the team delivers in 2-3 days instead of 2-3 weeks
tools replaced the juniors - Claude Code writes, agents test, automation deploys - the human team only makes decisions and signs contracts
$40,000/month from 6-8 clients - and every month the system gets faster because agents learn from previous projects

7 manager agents connected to the brain - sales, operations, finance, marketing, HR, research and product - each one reads from the vault, executes tasks and writes results back in after every session
sales agent qualifies leads and closes deals - operations agent writes SOPs and onboards clients - finance agent reconciles transactions every night - marketing agent repurposes content across every platform - HR agent tracks team performance - research agent surfaces market opportunities - product agent ships features on demand
every agent knows what every other agent did - shared context means zero dropped balls and zero repeated work
the brain gets smarter with every cycle - 3,000 nodes today, 10,000 by year end - and every new node makes every manager more accurate
most companies pay $200,000/year in management salaries to coordinate what this brain does automatically for $100/month in API costs
3,000 nodes, 7 managers, one brain - and a business that runs whether he opens the laptop or not
