Day 2 update: (I'm building the ultimate stock trading bot, and I'm giving it away for free.) Every time it loses a trade, I've told it to write itself a new rule. Here are its rules so far: 1) Set the stop and target before entering every trade. 2) No new trades in the first 15 or last 10 minutes of the session. 3) Don't buy out-of-the-money same-day-expiry options after 11:00 AM Eastern. 4) Don't chase: if SPY is up more than 0.5% from the prior close, wait for a pullback to support before buying calls.
