Quite enjoying that @giga_dex is just quietly buying back ~40% of their emissions at a minimum each week using their GIGA Machine, the perpetually staked 19% of token supply the team set aside on day one for solely this reason. veGIGA earns -> buys back more veGIGA -> bigger buybacks in future -> cycle continues Tis nice design imo

Interesting trade occurring over on @pendle_fi if you're both HYPE and YT aligned this weekend. @ValantisLabs' stHYPE has had a rate spike over the past 48 hrs, spiking up to almost 3% APY. If you're someone who's bullish on HYPE, but like me doesn't quite understand where this rate spike has come from Pendle opens up a fun play for you. Basically, Pendle gives you the opportunity to speculate on whether you think that this stHYPE rate is here to stay. Think its going to hang around at ~2.9-3% APY over time? Then you could make a ~30% gain denominated in stHYPE over the life of the market (94 days) by setting limit orders at ~2.1% APY. Think that these rates are only a flash in the pan but that other people might be willing to buy into the above? Then you could have a look at minting PT/YT's using your stHYPE that you already hold and setting limits to sell your YT's, keeping hold of the portion of the asset that will be worth 1 stHYPE at market close (the PT), while selling your YT to immediately realise the overrealised current pricing to either buy back in at a discount, locking in the gain, or just happy you locked that overinflated yield in 3 months in advance! Where yield branches out from the norm there is a Pendle market which deserves your attention. Thanks for reading, try not to get slipped to hard as you shove into the YT's!

With wstHYPE from @ValantisLabs paying out over 2.75% and USDC borrow cost at sub 5% you can literally get paid to borrow Stables on HyperLend this weekend Add in HPL staking and on a $2.5 Million USDC loan you can get paid up to $22,500 net per year just for taking out a loan… gLend.

Look at the timeline No one outside of paid off pump shills wants these celeb coins or for kols to become 'celebs' and extract even more from the plebs Every coin has pumpdex fees, pumpswap, terminal or bot fees, creator rewards, cashback, call out rewards, etc It is endless extraction, taking money out of coins and giving it to deployers, bundlers and kols, making the slice of the pie plebs have access to ever smaller But it's the plebs that make this space - without them - there's nothing to extract But you are bleeding us dry Meanwhile yourself and others have taken huge paid deals from pump, when instead you have the platform to lead us to a better way if you wanted to Robinhood took marketshare from pump and sol and the market was great, now the market share has gone back to pump and we are all getting farmed to zero again This is because pump only cares about spending money to generate fees through their ecosystem. They don't care about coins that people hold because they don't make anything from it. They need pnds for their revenue. With each pnd deploy a huge amount is extracted from the trenches, never to be seen again. This is not sustainable. And it's why it's rare to see coins on pump go to a high mc. It's a race to the bottom Where is the airdrop? Will you start advocating for it again? Or do the plebs have to give it up so 'celeb' kols can get paid?

Always great to read through Nomad's long form thought pieces. In particular I find his emphasis on the amount of fees RH Apps have been earning over the last few months interesting, its always good to see people pushing numbers other than straight TVL to build out a thesis

Kool is an absolute legend and I'm not just saying that because he's one of the first people to use @aviyafinance
Was actually one of the first few guys to use this facility. Had a bunch of hyperlend:native staked for the max interest rate discount, onboarded to Anchorage in a week or two, and got a $1m fixed rate loan at a net rate of around 5.5-6%. Surprised more people aren't trying to borrow against staked $HYPE, very comfy to free up cash while keeping the trading fee discounts and staking yield. Overall very pleasant experience with @hyperlendx and @Anchorage.

In the midst of doom and gloom on @RobinhoodCrypto always good to give a cheeky shoutout to @giga_dex for buying back over 1% of their token (~18.6% of circulating supply) already

I don’t think we’ve comprehended just how hilarious a full season with absolutely no consequences for a team filled with players of City’s quality could be. They wouldn’t play out a 0-0 draw for the entire season, bring on 7-5 scorelines week in week out

What happens when a DeFi protocol lets you promise more than you have? This is the question I started with this morning as I dove into @3janexyz's new product LCC, Levered Callable Capital. LCC is the marriage of an immutable onchain promise with a TradFi concept that's as old as time, and I find that fascinating. LCC's address one of the biggest inefficiencies in DeFi. In most lending markets capital ends up sitting somewhat idle for extended periods of time, chilling there and earning less yield than it could be earning elsewhere. This capital is utterly essential during periods where utilisation spikes, but otherwise is probably not doing as much as it could've been otherwise. The reason this inefficiency in general is able to abound is because most of DeFi isn't built around structured Lending, instead its built around the concept of anyone being able to access a loan whenever they need to. This is great as a principle, but its not a catchall that will gel perfectly with every iteration of DeFi Lending. 3Jane is an example of this, with their structured warehouse loans plugging into companies who've traditionally lived outside the DeFi sphere. These facilities are timed and involve predictable drawdown schedules, meaning that in contrast to the rest of DeFi demand for supply can actually be predicted. In light of this reality 3Jane have developed LCC. As I mentioned earlier, LCC's marry predictable drawdowns to an onchain promise. In practice, what this looks like is quite interesting. So 3Jane needs predictable capital that can be drawn down on notice, but it also doesn't want to pay to rent all of that capital all of the time. Instead, it uses an Epoch and leverage based system to allow users flexibility, whilst also ensuring capital is ready when needed. 3Jane users can now make deposit into a set of specialised @aave Markets called Promise Markets. These Markets, on USDC and USDC respectively, offer fantastic Yield on Stables, hovering at around 20% APR currently. The reason they are able to offer this much is that these deposits lock you as the user into a promise. The promise is simple, you as a user are putting down 7.5% of your total capital (Let's say $7500 out of $100,000) and being paid 1.25% APR on your total capital. You can then go and use the other 92.5% of your capital in whatever way you like, aiming to beat whatever hurdle rate you've set yourself. 3Jane is willing to let you make that promise because when you deposit your USDC or USDT you are making a commitment to fund future loan facilities if 3Jane asks you to. These are Capital Calls, the standard TradFi tool used to manage inefficient capital in markets for as long as there have been markets. 3Jane's calls have a 9 day deadline, allowing users a period of time to bring together the capital they have promised to meet the call. Users are on the hook for a pro rata share of these calls, if you are 1% of the total amount promised you'll need to provide 1% of the capital the facility is calling. In return for providing capital in the form of USDC you'll receive USD3, 3Jane's Stablecoin which pays out yield accrued by these loan facilities. You can cashout this USD3 back into USDC after a 35 day cooldown, during which it'll continue to accrue yield. Calls are structured and can only occur within 21 day Epoch windows, with a maximum of one capital call within each Epoch. This design allows users to track their exposure to calls in a reasonably linear fashion, planning their other deployments with promised capital accordingly. TLDR: LCC's allow users to earn extra yield ontop of capital they're deploying elsewhere, with essentially a hovering 9 day deadline to close out positions in profit. 3Jane is fundamentally happy to do this because they have to pay less to rent the liquidity they need! If you're interested in trying the product you should almost definitely sign up to 3Jane's dedicated TG service which flags Capital Calls publicly. Thanks for reading, I hope you've found this as interesting as I did!

You can literally take out a USDC loan against kHYPE on HyperLend right now and pay an effective interest rate of 1% per annum. If you do not want to sell your HYPE and you think you can make more than 1% return per year idk what more I can do for you rn... If you add in HPL Staking you can bring this rate down as low as 0.77%, but hey what do I know?

Aviya has originated it's first Institutional Credit Facility, with @HyperionDeFi providing a $1 million USDC line of credit for a borrower secured against natively-staked HYPE held in custody at @Anchorage
Over $10B of staked HYPE earns yield but can't work as collateral. Until today. Together with @Anchorage and @HyperLendX, we launched the first institutional credit facility on Hyperliquid: borrow against natively staked HYPE held in qualified custody at a federally chartered bank. Staked. Custodied. Collateral. All at the same time. But HYPE is just the beginning.

Incredibly excited to be partnering with @Anchorage as Aviya's qualified custodian
Aviya has signed an agreement with @Anchorage as the venue’s exclusive qualified custodian. Institutional borrowers can now access credit against all forms of HYPE with the confidence that their collateral is custodied with the first federally chartered crypto bank. Anchorage Digital, home to the first federally regulated crypto bank in the U.S., provides proven infrastructure through which billions of dollars flow, with Atlas, their institutional settlement layer securing over $12.5 Billion in collateral to date. Through this agreement, institutions who borrow through Aviya will be able to manage their loans through Atlas, utilising its precise architecture 24/7 to pledge, release and reallocate with certainty. With $21 billion in HYPE circulating and another $36+ billion worth staked, institutional loans backed by HYPE are an incredibly important unlock for billions of dollars waiting to be activated. Atlas’ seamless integration with Aviya’s HyperLend powered lending infrastructure allows institutions to unlock all forms of HYPE, with fixed rate facilities available for approved clientele.
