In contrast, if I may, we found our own voice. The video you watched was taken when we had very close colonial contact. So, we mimicked the English pronunciation, enunciation and diction.
What we have now, when you hear a Nigerian accent, is usually finally breaking through the language. We found our own voice. The Ghanaian accent is distinct for this same reason.
We now have the Nigerian English, it is not adulterated, it has adapted, quite usually, as other non- English speakers.
PS: this is a personal opinion.
Same person that tweeted this, mind you.
So doctors that can't learn how to code should keep giving out free treatments and live in poverty all in the name of ethics abi?

The challenge has never been just reading. It’s recalling what you read. That’s why we built Teach Me Medicine.
It gives you a high-yield topic or USMLE pearl and sets a 15-minute timer for reading. Then you come back for 2 minutes of recall, typed or spoken, which is saved as your personal notes you can always fall back to.
Do you desire a topic of choice? Pick from our library. And are your study materials far-fetched? Use our AI-assisted tutor, inbuilt in the app.
Teach Me Medicine. It’s free and works in your browser, with no download. Just add it to your home screen.
Get started with 15 minutes of reading and 2 minutes of recall.

I promise you this is mad cope. Sounds like what GPT-4o would do in early 2024.
The 8 stages of every vibe coder's backend:
1. "Supabase + Vercel. Backend is solved."
2. 50 users. Everything is fast.
3. Launches. 3,000 users in an hour.
4. Database connections maxed out. Site down.
5. Asks AI to fix it. AI adds caching. Users start seeing each other's carts.
6. Googles "what is a connection pool."
7. Reads about indexes at 3 AM.
8. "Backend engineers were right all along."
After this exam, I'm gonna take design more seriously. Proper courses and stuff.
Been working on the landing page for @GetHealthOS in preparation for the next round of expansion and I'm genuinely having sm fun.
HealthOS is currently running pilots in a few private facilities.
Today is project defence day.
A summary of my com med group research project so far:
Prof: "do you know how to use spss?"
Me: "no, but I can figure it out"
Prof: "ever used ODK questionnaires before?"
Me: "no but give me one or two days to check it out"
Prof: "I'll recommend a data analyst for your pretest."
Me: "sir, let me run it myself first"
He told me today he is incredibly impressed with how I just quickly figure things out on the fly. Never underestimate the power of "I don't know it yet, but I'll figure it out" 🙂↔️

Even as a doctor, I still have immense respect for anyone in path & pharm class. I still greet them with extra respect because I thought I was going to die while in that class.
