🚨 Haaland: “They have an incredible manager. They sold a lot of players, but they still have plenty of good players & even who they put in are good footballers. So I respect them a lot, the way that they have been playing ever since Unai Emery came in — they are doing really well.” #avfc

If Manchester United were willing to spend on a manager who they could offer the ultimate challenge to & might jump at the chance to do it, Unai Emery is that guy. What he has achieved at Villa is outstanding. The chance to get revenge on Arsenal by rebuilding a historical rival?

Didn’t Aston Villa lose a lot of first-team players in the transfer window? Look at how they are still putting up a fight against City, playing with high intensity and a goal up. The Manchester United board is a major problem, but we have a far better squad than Villa. Our terrible performances have really just been down to Carrick.

Aston Villa Football Club can confirm that Head Coach Steven Gerrard has left the club with immediate effect.

Lindelof did a job at times last season but he’s been awful so far in this. His passing was decent 25/26 too but now it’s horrendous. We really need to integrate THB and get Pau back in.
