People can call me ageist all they want, but only two people being under 40 in the top 10 and number one being 85 years old is nuts. This show has not prepared for the future where the vets aren't around. #YR

The Supreme Court wouldn't let Biden cancel a measly 10k in student loans but it'll let trump interfere with elections. We had the chance to stop this from happening, it's sad so many on the left didn't want to

It's disheartening that some fans can't tell Cynthia and Nina apart. They need to remember that Cynthia is an actress, not her character, and shouldn't get mad or leave negative feedback when she's mentioned. #GH

I'll never forgive the media for being a large part of why this is happening. They were just so bored and Biden wouldn't give them enough interviews, so they had to help bring the Mad King back...

Seriously, what was the point of bringing Cane Ashby back to #YR? What about Tara Locke for her son, Harrison? What about Tucker McCall for his 15,000 loose ends??

Re: the #SoapTwitter discourse from earlier:
Soap fans aren’t ‘triggered’ - they’re invested. Dismissing legitimate viewer feedback as ‘unhealed trauma’ completely misses what makes this genre special. These shows have thrived for decades precisely because they create deep emotional connections with their audience.
The ‘sweet old ladies’ of previous decades were just as passionate and opinionated about their shows. They wrote letters to networks, called in complaints, and discussed storylines extensively - they just didn’t have social media to amplify their voices. Today’s fans are their successors, carrying forward that same investment and care.
Now, toxicity in fandom is absolutely a valid concern that should be addressed. But there’s a crucial distinction between personal attacks on actors, writers, or fellow fans versus thoughtful criticism about storytelling choices. When fans critique how stories are presented - pointing out plot holes, pacing issues, racism, blatant favoritism, or problematic themes - without attacking anyone personally, that’s legitimate discourse, not toxicity.
This distinction matters especially when fans are calling out issues that others might be hesitant to address. When longtime viewers criticize poor writing, character assassination, or disrespectful treatment of legacy characters, they’re not being ‘savages’ - they’re holding shows accountable to their own standards.
Constructive criticism isn’t hate - it’s caring enough to want better. We can love soaps AND expect them to be well-written and inclusive. That’s not ‘toxic behavior’ - that’s being a discerning audience that respects both the medium and ourselves as viewers.

AGAIN Holly and Robert being Sasha’s parents is so stupid and pointless. Should have somehow made her Felicia’s or Nina’s. #GH

Here’s video I found of Eric Trump saying “I’ve been to China many times—I love China—A lot of plans for China. We have an amazing buyer base from China that has apartments in our buildings—use our hotels—are members of our golf clubs” Make it viral #AMJoy

Cynthia as Nina. I didn’t care for Nina before. She felt one note. With Cynthia, that totally changed. Now, she’s one of my favorite characters. The layers Cynthia brought to the role doesn’t get talked about enough imo.
Which soap recast completely changed how you saw a character?
