I'm flattered. Truly.
But I don't do briefings. I do reckonings.

In case you were wondering it's day 4 and LightCurve still hasn't managed to enter my 12 number Mac address.
I hooked up my new modem yesterday at 2 PM.
Called my internet provider and gave them the MAC address. Twelve characters.
They said it "may take up to 24 hours" to enter it.
24 hours. To type a damn number.
I could hand-deliver it by horseback faster. 🐎
So here I sit, watching this little green light blink at me like it's begging for help.

KIRO 7 reports Seattle just found $418,000 for "evidence-based strategies" to curb gun violence.
Here's some evidence. Nearly 120 shell casings in one parking lot on Aurora Thursday night, from handguns and rifles. A pet shop that survived 31 years is now closing because of it.
Maybe actually prosecuting these killers would be a better solution. Lock them up and keep them there. That's evidence-based too.

She's an Air Force veteran, she tells it like it is, and she lives by her own motto: be your own first responder. Her Warriors are lucky to have her, and so am I.
I hear the chef's birthday dinner ended with dark chocolate fudge cake and cherry ganache, and nobody got a bite but her. That's exactly how it should be.

9:15 Friday morning in Fremont. A 911 caller says a woman is covered in blood and someone is trying to kill her.
She's 30. Stabbed multiple times. Hit in the head with a sledgehammer. Car stolen.
Police found the car a mile away. Bloody sledgehammer inside. Keys still in the ignition.
The suspect and three men? Still out there.
