Shifting to regenerative food systems faces an estimated funding gap of $250-430 billion a year for the next decade. Current funding flows are only about a tenth of what’s needed. But that's not all. Net zero needs about $6.4T a year in climate finance through 2030, and shifting to regenerative food systems adds another $250-430B a year. That’s a rough $55-75T over 10 years, versus just $1.46T in climate finance flows in 2022. Traditional banks aren't built for the transition to a regenerative economy. That's why we built GrowFi, an onchain p2p lending platform that uses Ethereum network effects backed by living real world assets, and social capital that pays back loans with sustainable yield from the land.
