No one apart from Man U fans wants to see Man U successful again.
I can absolutely guarantee you that.

It is disgraceful that Andy Burnham took an hour out to appear on Gogglebox just to raise money for Stand Up To Cancer. If he's going to do a TV show he should do what I did and pocket £1.5million for eating some kangaroo bollocks.
This is just lovely. A great big warm bath of a record that washes over you.
All hail @michaelkiwanuka - hope your recovery is going well

Mark Carney on Elon Musk throttling Starlink: "I search for the right adjective to describe whoever took this decision or group of people took this decision against a country that is literally fighting for the lives of the citizens against naked aggression."

When this guy is gone the Americans will wonder how the hell they ever elected him once let alone twice.
🚨NEW: Donald Trump lashes out at NBC reporter:
Q: Do the sexual allegations mean nothing to you?
Trump: “QUIET! Isn’t she a fresh person? You’re a horrible little reporter.”
(The reporter who press Trump on the sexual allegations was @albamonica)
Absolutely outstanding Recommended from @TheNewCue1 today - a thoroughly deserved round of applause to @TedKessler1 and Niall who doesn’t seem to be on Twitter anymore (yes it is still Twitter in this house)

Striking how fast Reform went from free-press defenders to calling for the arrest of journalists who investigate it.
Its move to the populist-authoritarian model is unlikely to do much for its poll rating.
STATEMENT:
Reform UK has reported ITV, its board, and its undercover reporters to the police.
Some of the crimes carry up to 10 years in prison.
They forged a passport.
They directly interfered in elections and almost certainly altered the results. Being paid to “canvass” for Reform in crucial wards we lost by a few dozen votes.
They lied to a veteran about their service and left him “violated”.
This is unprecedented.
The police are now involved.
Scrutiny of political parties is one thing.
But anyone breaking the law to try and ruin the lives of Reform’s staff, members or volunteers will be reported to the police and pursued relentlessly in the courts.

A reality check on the “great humanitarian” Vladimir Putin.
‘A great humanitarian’ is the label Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff used to describe Vladmir Putin.
@Lewis_Goodall runs through the list of qualities that may have earned the Russian president this praise...
Terrible typo on the subheading of your book, Liz.
It somehow says “how the Bank of England broke the bond market and brought down the government” when it should say “how *I* broke the bond market and brought down the government”.
Heads should roll at your publisher!

Ukraine was winning the war, so Trump kneecapped Ukraine to help Russia.
I wish it weren’t that simple, but it is. Our president is in bed with our enemies.

There is a lot of Russian propaganda in Europe. They have invested as much money in it as in weapons during this war. This is a massive financial program spanning decades. Russia has been waging a hybrid war against Europe, including Italy, France, Britain, and Germany, for a long time. It just isn't waging a full-scale war against them as it is against us. Because we had the same thing – a hybrid war. Russian narratives across absolutely all television and media platforms, on the internet, and on social media.
People should not be pierced through and brainwashed by waves of narratives from the Russian Federation. Because it is up to France, Ukraine, Italy, and Spain to decide how to live and whom to elect. Russia cannot influence Italy's choices and freedom. Italy is a free country, just like Ukraine.
The Russians will seek to exploit far-right movements, religious movements, faith, migration, and gender. Russia doesn't care what issue can divide society: from religion to language, Russia will always find it and strike there. We are seeing this now not only in Europe – they also have influence in the United States of America. They have a very significant wave going on there, and their network is operating.
