APC SAK takes centre stage as Bagwai/Shanono LGAs Campaign Committee is inaugurated * 1,846 motorcycles, 1,300 refrigerators, 1,300 grinding machines, others for disbursement The campaign committees of two more local government areas, Bagwai and Shanono, were inaugurated ahead of the forthcoming general elections. The event brought together key political stakeholders, including the Kano North Campaign Council Chairman, Engr. Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi; Deputy Chairman of the Council, Dr Ali Haruna Makoda; DG, Hon. Aliyu Yusuf Tumfafi; Deputy Chairman of the APC in Kano, Hon. Salisu Maje Ahmad (Taimako); Hon. Musa Sulaiman Shanono, Commissioner for Budget and Planning; Hon. Faruq Lawan; the Chairman of Bagwai LGA, Hon. Abdullahi Gadanya; the Chairman of Shanono LGA, Hon. Abubakar Barau; Hon. Mannir Maigari; Hajiya Yardada Maikano; Prof. Ibrahim Magaji; Hon. Kabiru Ado Lakwaya; Hon. Ali Alasan Kiyawa, member representing Bagwai/Shanono in the Kano State House of Assembly; and Hon. Malami Ibrahim Shanono, APC candidate for the constituency, among other leaders. I expressed confidence in the capacity and commitment of the committees' members, describing them as trusted individuals capable of leading our campaign and delivering victory for the APC in their respective communities. I urged them to put aside personal differences and work together towards a common goal: securing victory for the APC at all levels, from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and for the Senate, House of Representatives and State Assembly. Our message remains clear: APC from top to bottom. I also noted that the political developments and ongoing projects across the country, particularly in Kano, make it imperative for us to support continuity. The decision of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to join the APC has further strengthened our party and opened new opportunities for Kano State. We must appreciate this development and work collectively to consolidate the gains. Beyond politics, I reaffirmed our commitment to delivering more developmental interventions to Kano North. I disclosed that plans were underway to upgrade Bagwai General Hospital into a specialist hospital, with the provision of modern medical equipment to enable it to handle more complex healthcare needs. On empowerment, I announced that each of the 13 local government areas in Kano North would benefit from the distribution of 142 motorcycles each, 100 refrigerators and 100 grinding machines. I also announced a support of N100,000 financial support for 300 persons from each of two LGAs. I also addressed the compensation concerns of communities in Bagwai LGA, following the water dam project, assuring them of my commitment to ensuring that affected beneficiaries receive their entitlements soon. I appreciate the people of Bagwai and Shanono for their continued support and confidence in our representation. I commend the campaign leadership and all stakeholders for their commitment to the success of our party. We must remain united and mobilise our people for all the candidates of our party, APC. Kano North: Inauguration of Campaign Committees for Dawakin Tofa, Tofa & Rimin Gado LGAs In continuation of our efforts to consolidate grassroots mobilisation and support for our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of the 2027 general elections, a few hours ago, I inaugurated the campaign committees for Dawakin Tofa, Tofa, and Rimin Gado Local Government Areas of the Kano North Senatorial District. The inauguration, which brought together 300 representatives from each of the three local government areas, was attended by the member representing Dawakin Tofa/Tofa/Rimin Gado Federal Constituency, Hon. Tijjani Abdulkadir Jobe; Deputy Speaker of the Kano State House of Assembly, Hon. Muhammad Bello Butu-Butu; Chairman of the Kano North Campaign Council, Engr. Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi, Hon. Ali Bukar Makoda, Hon. Aliyu Yusuf Tumfafi; the three local government chairmen and members representing the areas in the State Assembly, among other party stakeholders. Several stakeholders and leaders who spoke at the event appreciated my numerous interventions and support for our party, the APC. "Your Excellency, the Deputy President of the Senate, Insha Allah, with you as our leader, APC is lucky and will definitely win in Kano North, Kano State, and the country at large. We are proud to have you from our region. Thank you for all your support," they stated. In my remarks, I emphasised the need for unity, commitment, and collective action to ensure the APC's success at all levels in 2027. Nigeria is on the right path towards progress, and we must sustain the momentum by supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates. With the APC controlling the major political structures in Kano, we have every reason to work together and deliver victory for our party. I also urged party members to remain united and take the message of continuity to their respective communities, wards and polling units. Our objective is clear: APC from top to bottom. As part of our support for grassroots mobilisation and economic empowerment, I announced a package of interventions for the 13 local government areas of Kano North Senatorial District. Each LGA will receive 142 motorcycles to support the activities of different groups, including clerics, hunters, social media mobilisers, youths, commercial motorcycle operators and elders. Additionally, each of the 13 LGAs will receive 100 sewing machines and 100 grinding machines to support economic empowerment and improve livelihoods at the grassroots. I also extended my monthly cash support of N100,000 to each of my constituents who attended this event. I appreciate the leadership and people of Dawakin Tofa, Tofa and Rimin Gado for their impressive turnout and commitment to our collective political project. I commend Engr. Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi and the entire campaign leadership for their dedication. This engagement marks the beginning of our mobilisation activities across Kano North. Together, we will strengthen our structures, deepen our grassroots engagement and work for the victory of the APC in 2027. APC from top to bottom!
