@KeystoneWallet bought from BitcoinVN Shop - authorized hardware wallet dealer in 🇻🇳 since 2017 (and Keystone in specific since 2025) - are not impacted by this customer database leak.
Independently, we will share soon more about our own data retention policies on our blog - and what we do on our end to minimize any retained customer data.
With that said:
Your safest way to acquire a hardware wallet is to *never* provide your real name or real home address upon purchase.
Buy in-store and with cash (ideally with an as short supply chain involved as possible) - so that any personal and sensitive data never enters any database in the first place.
And for whom it might be useful:

On October 20, we detected unauthorized access to our official website. After verifying API activity with Shopify, we confirmed on October 23 that a third party obtained customer shipping information. You trusted us with those details, and we're sorry we didn't keep them safe.
Exposed: names, contact details, shipping addresses, and order details (items and prices).
Not exposed: payment card or bank details, recovery phrases, private keys, or wallet passwords.
We've blocked access, fixed the vulnerability, opened an investigation, and are emailing affected customers.
Scammers may pose as Keystone by phone, text, email, or mail, offering refunds, replacement devices, or "fixes" for your order or address. None of it is from us.
NEVER share your recovery phrase or private keys, and NEVER enter your recovery phrase into a device you didn't order. We will never ask for them. Don't click links in unexpected messages. Type keyst.one yourself.

Gold verliert gerade seine Limitierung, und kaum jemand redet darüber.

Die Richtung ist klar: Gold hat Jahrtausende als Wertspeicher gedient, weil es begrenzt und schwer zu fördern war, und genau diese Begrenzung löst Technologie Schritt für Schritt auf.
Wertlos wird Gold dadurch nicht, es wird einfach zu dem, was es eigentlich ist, ein Industriemetall, das umso nützlicher wird, je mehr wir davon herstellen können.
Was Gold dabei verliert, ist seine monetäre Prämie, und die wandert dorthin, wo Limitierung unumstößlich ist.
Physische Limitierung lässt sich „wegforschen“, Konsens nicht, und egal wie weit der technologische Fortschritt noch geht, ein Bitcoin bleibt ein Bitcoin.
Bitcoin wird deshalb die monetäre Prämie von Gold aufsaugen, genauso wie die aller anderen Güter, die heute nur deshalb als Wertspeicher missbraucht werden, weil unser Geld so schlecht ist.
