Bangalore has a weird festival economy. Diwali arrives. Other cities see a shopping boom. Bangalore sees empty cafes, quieter restaurants and fewer customers. My theory? Most of these customers aren't native to the city. Bangalore retailers, am I imagining this or is this actually a thing?
