Itās been heartbreaking to this day, knowing Alice was actually so distressed she had to be restrained - after just asking for a cracker to eat.
This was one of the final insults to Aliceās humanity.
Just 4 nights later, her luminous spirit & very life were extinguished. 9/9

I see Jackie Smith has been appointed Chair at @royalhospital - the announcement frames her role at the NMC as being positive. She resigned in disgrace after the @prof_standards published a damning report into serious failures relating to how the NMC handled Morecambe Bay case & treated bereaved families, including mine.

NELFTās defence betrayed a studied ignorance of Aliceās MH conditions & total failure to recognise the impact of her ED & the traumatising ill-treatment sheād endured for months on the ward itself. /End

So Aliceās life was not only valued less than than the contents of NELFTās rubbish bins, but apparently wasnāt even worth the trouble of obtaining a Ā£1.26 bargain basement bucket bin, in time to save her. As far as weāre concerned NELFT showed utter contempt for a human life. 12/
