Stage 1. Of the expedition is going well, weather is ideal with Scouts in high spirits.
Impressive map reading as well with no misdirection.
Thank you to Porter Explorer leaders for joining us tonight and running some great games including a brilliant moo off.
After that we did some map reading and learning to read and understand grid references ready for expeditions.

A great night fire lighting with the Scouts tonight. Tampons, dryer lint, a flint & steel and very wet wood = great fires made. (Marshmallows to top it off). #SkillsforLife #Scouts
Well done to our two teams who took part in the Marksman Competition today!
We'll be sharing the results over the next few days!
Welcome back Scouts! New patrols, new Senior Patrol Leaders, Patrol Leaders and Assistant Patrol Leaders, congratulations! 🥳
Team building games to start followed by Scouts reviewing the behaviour policy and telling us how as a patrol they'll make sure it will be implemented.
We look forward to seeing you all at Scouts soon!
We wish you the best of luck with your return to school. We know this can be an anxious time for some.
YoungMinds has some great information that could help with some of these worries.
