ONE TOWN, ONE VOICE - Community Integration benefits everyone in your society. It builds friendships, relationships, community activism and a sense of place. Diversity is an asset if harnessed correctly. Government policy must help drive this @simoncoveney @davidstantontd

On Jan 25th locals in Fermoy, many of whom came from other countries, will gather to celebrate Chinese New Year in one of the town's Chinese restaurants. We'll sing, eat, we'll chat....ONE TOWN, ONE VOICE - Could your town do the same? @TheAvondhu @simoncoveney @davidstantontd

Thrilled for #Cahir which last night was named winners @ the @bankofireland National Enterprise Town Awards 2019 (for towns with pop between 2k-5k). A big part of their pitch was their work in building community integration - 40 nationalities, ONE voice @TodaySOR @thinkbusinessie
Our hand-waver flags came this morning! We'll be singing Silent Night in Portuguese, Polish, Lithuanian, German, Czech, Italian, Dutch and Irish at our Christmas concert in Fermoy on December 7th! Such a wonderful group of people from over 30 countries originally. #Onevoice

Was delighted to speak at yesterday's @immigrationIRL seminar in Athlone. Was eager to show that there are ways to enable greater community integration in towns across Ireland without the need for major funding or, in some cases, new resources. #energy #innovation @davidstantontd
Amazing pictures by Sean Sharpe of @CultureNight in Fermoy. The Fermoy International Choir delighted to feature. Such positivity, vision and decency on display - because we are all one in this town - no matter the passport you hold, the God you pray to or the colour of your skin.

Beautiful pic here by Sean Sharpe of our wonderful Herehau who has moved to Fermoy from a little island near Tahiti in French Polynesia (15 km away!). On @CultureNight she, as a member of the Fermoy Int'l Choir, sang a native Polynesian song about love & respect @roisiningle
