It is because I love girlhood and womanhood and motherhood that I know feminism must be rooted out from our psyches. You can only understand this at a high level of integration, intellect, and femininity

As a scholar of females I will break this down in a tldr of how both are right and wrong. Anna is right in that part of Audrey's goal is not just to spread her (overall better) ideas but to also maximize her own personal attention. Trad presenting personal marketing is still marketing, and, yes, someone like Aella is selling the completely opposite product. There is tension because both do appeal to male instincts. One to basest desires and one to higher nature. What wins? Both can't be equally valid. There is a zero-sum nature to this because there is limited market share. Audrey is right that we do live in a society, and family formation and having children is a much better online psyop than the opposite. We would live in utter hell if we all rationalized our basest desires as the prime motivation for everything (kind of what we have in some respects). So, Anna is more intellectually (technically) correct while Audrey is more overall vibes-based correct. That's all there is to it.

Modern gregorian chant
We think of novels as an aristocratic pastime now. But they were once seen as degenerate and mind-rotting. That was the old world’s version of doomscrolling. Jane Austen wrote Northanger Abbey around the turn of the 19th century, and it was published posthumously in 1817. In Chapter 5, she interrupts the narrative and breaks the fourth wall to defend the novel as an esteemed art form. That’s why I named my startup Jane. We’re at that same cultural juncture with zoomer TikTok edits. Doesn’t this edit make you appreciate life?

The obtuseness in the replies to this very accurate depiction of reality is frying me
quick PSA. You can't really enforce a personal boundary that's contrary to the group norm, you pretty much just have to leave the group. That's why women tend to be so sensitive and invested in what those norms are.

Obeying natural law blindly leads to problems, but disregarding them altogether leads to more. We need a brave thinker to put precepts of natural law in order of importance (and make room for technology in a pro-human way) and we'll be set.

don't know what's argued in the birth of tragedy (have a sense), I just know antigone was indeed wonderful and the italians perfected the tragedy. and that this all resulted in sorrentino making great films that get bastardized on reddit - which wholly disproves redditors q.e.d.

we really must continue to read books, because the way the models summarize the main points can miss some epistemic bangers altogether. pls do not collapse your mind! ill give an example:

many of man's conquering of nature is phony. if you really think about it, most of man's conquering of nature is man conquering another man. by not providing him access to the technology that 'conquers nature'

and, to go further, a lot of man conquering nature is exerting power over future generations - and not really conquering nature at all

One of my favorite genres is "attacks from within" - wherein a more intellectually honest journalist or scholar pushes up against natural law / objective reality and doesn't lie. Just sits with it. Self-Made Man is a great one in this genre.
