My female neighbor and I were really close. She would bring food to my place, I would help her with small things in the house. We used to sit outside and talk for hours every evening. Everyone in the compound thought we were dating, but we were just neighbors, nothing more. Last weekend my girlfriend came to stay for the weekend. My neighbor saw us when we came in, she smiled and said welcome. That was on Friday.

You cannot expect ownership to come with an obligation to hold, and you shouldn’t take offence when someone decides to sell.
Give because you want to, not because you’re expecting something in return.
