Chris Rock just nailed one of the biggest problems with wokeness. Helping people who feel marginalized is good. He says so himself. The trouble starts when a good cause becomes an institution. The first few witches were real. Then you open a witch office. Now there are salaries, budgets and pensions to justify, and the office needs a steady supply of witches to keep existing. That’s the trap. Once a cause becomes a career, solving the problem means losing your job. So the problem never gets solved. It just keeps getting redefined. A system built to find wrongdoing will keep finding it, whether it’s there or not.

I watch almost zero college football, but watching @ThisPastWeeknd podcast with @TheoVon where he interviews #NickSaban ….man, this dude is crazy interesting while also being very soft spoken.

This response to Kelly Clarkson’s post will be studied by communications professionals for years. I give it an A+
Just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out this store I thought looked really rad and had a few things in mind to buy and literally was looked at as if I couldn’t afford it and was told he could find something comparable for me. Wow, dude. You’re an idiot and just lost a huge sale. But y’all should go check out Art of Play in Brooklyn if you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts character in Pretty Woman. For sure, check it out 👎

Be like Brad. If you’re constantly negative and say that they’re the same old Oilers, you’ll be so smart if nothing changes…. But if they turn it around, no one will remember what you said 🤪
So after sleeping on it I have a new plan… I’m not going to judge anything until at least 15 games in…. It’s going to take a while to break the bad habits, and Babs seems to have the pulse of the team, and how to push them. Goalies, and team D need to be better

The Correctional Service of Canada says paper straws will soon be distributed in federal prisons as part of a harm-reduction program for safer drug snorting. The straws are intended to reduce injuries and the spread of infections from shared or makeshift equipment.

A Mom visits her son for dinner who lives with a girl roommate. During the course of the meal, his mother couldn't help but notice how pretty his roommate was. She had long been suspicious of a relationship between the two, and this had only made her more curious... Over the course of the evening, while watching the two interact, she started to wonder if there was more between him and his roommate than met the eye. Reading his mom's thoughts, his son volunteered, “I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you, we are just roommates." About a week later, his roommate came to him saying, “Ever since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the silver plate. You don't suppose she took it, do you?" He said ,"Well, I doubt it, but I'll text her, just to be sure." He texted, “I'm not saying that you ‘did' take the silver plate from my house, I'm not saying that you ‘did not' take the silver plate but the fact remains that it has been missing ever since you were here for dinner. His Mom responds, “I'm not saying that you ‘do' sleep with your roommate, and I'm not saying that you ‘do not' sleep with her. But the fact remains that if she was sleeping in her OWN bed, she would have found the silver plate by now, under her pillow. 😉 Love you!

So its not right to blame all Muslims for what happened 25 years ago ( 9/11) But its ok to blame all white people for what happened 300 years ago (slavery) I get it now.

I love when people bring up being a father to a daughter as they defend E.M for being a liar. I have a daughter. I would hope I would do a good enough job she isn't getting raw dogged by a lineup to the bathroom while being engaged. Then lies and claims rape later.

She didn’t realize this until after the second, third, fourth kid?! Seems like she would’ve learned to keep her legs closed a bit sooner….

One law she didn’t break: cheating on her bf. Just immoral.
Lying about being raped is a crime. Taking money from Hockey Canada for lying about rape is fraud, another crime. One person broke laws in this case. So far, ZERO accountability. Yet people want to punish the boys who did nothing illegal. Funny isnt it?

Did you know Justice Maria Carroccia spent more than four hours reading her 91 page reasons for judgment in the July 2025 Hockey Canada trial, during which she detailed numerous inconsistencies, memory gaps, and discrepancies in the complainant’s testimony and prior statements? The female judge found the complainant’s evidence neither credible nor reliable. The full oral delivery of the decision took most of the court day. So, unless you have read the full 91 page document you would be best to reserve judgement until you have.

Any suggestions on where I could find someone to make a metal Canadian flag like this American one? @MetalSupermrkts would you do this or only supply the sheet and leave me to colour it? #OhCanada

Many Oilers fans that I know and that I like are suffering and angry now. They believe in their hearts that the Oilers have signed a rapist, and that many fans support this horrible act. Little wonder they are so upset. But there is one thing that might bring some relief. Go and read the judge’s verdict. It is easy to read and comprehend. The judge is a clear writer. She carefully describes the key elements of the case. For some people at least, the ruling will bring clarity. For some it will bring the understanding that, no, nobody supports rape, and no one supports having a rapist on the Oilers. What happened on that night in question was strange, tawdry, shallow and, in the end, miserable, as casual sex can be. But if you are humble before the facts perhaps you will find it does not add up to something that should turn you against your fellow fans and beloved team.

Oiler and Flames fans united in calling out BS. 💪🏼
Replying to @podgoalzin17
i'm a generational Flames fan (got the Flaming C tattooed on my wrist), so it PAINS me to agree with you. i was raped at 14. i never GOT a say. that chick WANTED to fuck them. if she changed her mind mid act and did not SAY IT--that does not make it rape. these people are diminishing the word rape. they are making it harder for actual survivors of this shit like myself to be believed. all parties were also fucking drinking.

How about teaching young women to have more self respect? How about teaching young women that cheating on your boyfriend is abhorrent behaviour?
Replying to @Social_Moi
We signed. We cannot allow the culture that leads young men thinking this kind of behaviour is acceptable.

If we’re believing the judgement of women, how about an actual real life female judge?! The thing I find most baffling is how Em cheated on her bf/fiance at the time. If the guys are all guilty by of being pigs, how about the woman who was spoken for initiating the whole thing?

The story on @GlobalEdmonton about the black man pulled over “multiple times” by police…WHY IS HE GETTING OUT OF THE CAR????? If he really has happened multiple times, what did he do this time that resulted in him being “brutalized”?! Oh ya, HE GOT OUT OF HIS CAR.
