Did you know? @GlasgowCC Glasgow City Council does not accommodate people at night out of hours. They say sorry NO ACCOMMODATION This means if someone becomes homeless at 9pm, 11pm, or even 2am they are left with no safe place to go until the morning. Vulnerable people are being forced to sleep rough on the streets of Glasgow, exposed to danger, the cold, and the elements. Our volunteer-led night shelter has stepped in to fill this gap, providing a safe bed, warmth, and dignity to over 27,000 when the Council will not. But now even this service is under threat of closure. If the Council won’t accommodate people at night and they close the night shelter where will Glasgow’s homeless go to sleep? We need your voice. Share this post, stand with us, and demand that no one in our city is left without a bed at night. #glasgow #homelessness #saveourshelter #nooneleftoutside
