I pray President Trump turns sees the scam of the H-1B and the damage it has done to America. Morale among our STEM graduates who are being told to be electricians and plumbers is low. Trades are important but tech jobs are also important to the security of Americans who should be doing those jobs. This was a temporary program not intended to takeover the culture and the good jobs needed by Americans but the corporations appropriated it and the government looked the other way. Don’t turn your back on us. Many of us have heartbreaking stories about job loss but it is truly heartbreaking to lose our country because our government valued money for a few over a future for many.

Markets charge what customers will bear, and for scarce or constrained goods the extra purchasing power from dual incomes is largely absorbed. At one time, having two parents work was a boost. But that is no longer the case.

Why do people look forward to Saturday?

A water main burst up the street somewhere. The city shut off the water. Then they went home for the weekend. They didn't want to pay overtime. It's a good thing people don't need water.

I don't think city workers like their jobs. They all seem to be unhappy. Though I find them to be very curious people, as they all gather around a hole while it's being dug. I've often wondered what they're seeing.

I got a message yesterday that just said boil water advisory for my area. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do. Am I supposed to boil all my water? Or what? And then what do I do with all the water I've boiled? I also have some water that I bought from the store in jugs. What am I supposed to do with that?

I'm sick of due process for non-citizens. They are visitors and should be entitled to only one thing: deportation.

It's good to be a little paranoid.

Does the United States government realize that people they allow in legally can be playing a very long strategic game. These are the people who won't assimilate and exploit our high trust law and policies. They indoctrinate their children against anything that is American. That's their job. That's why they came here. It can be done in one generation.

What's legal is not always moral. And what's moral is not always legal. But as people, we should do what's both moral and legal. The dilemma is doing something that's immoral and legal. Don't do it.

I eat fermented foods. Although I'm not Korean ancestry, I pick up kimchi at the Korean store. It's great. And along with sauerkraut, it's one of my go-to salad-type meals.

Progressives are striving to make every country the same. Everyone will be equally poor. It won't solve corruption, because there are people who will come between the money and the rest of the population. There will always be a servant class of people.

All conflicts should be settled by the two leaders playing a video game that involves capturing the other person's country.

Does your spouse know all about your money? Do you hide any money from your spouse? I'm saying that because I used to work with guys who would ask, "Can you write a separate check for my overtime? I don't want my wife to know about that money. She'll spend it." Of course, wives can also hide money.

The only way to get prices down is to start at the beginning of the supply chain. After all, that is why oil is so high. Congress can't make everybody take a pay cut. The only thing they can do is tax and spend. So who are they gonna tax? How are they going to find the person who's charging too much? Maybe AI can do it.

Why do young children need a smartphone? They don't do banking. Mothers these days do not let them go anywhere alone.
