HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM: This is a well written and thought out article written by a 26 yr old college student by the name of Alyssa Ahlgren, who's in grad school for her MBA. What a GREAT perspecitve... My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us! I'm sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to "fix" the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around. I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook's, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we've become completely blind to it. Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don't give them a second thought. We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!! Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. ?? Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, "An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity." Never saw American prosperity! Let that sink in. When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I've ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided. My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let's just say I didn't have the popular opinion, but I digress. Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country. People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they've never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism. Why? The answer is this,?? my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn't live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War or we didn't see the rise and fall of socialism and communism. We don't know what it's like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don't have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it's spreading like a plague."

This interview of @steipete by @lexfridman is required viewing for anyone who wants a front row seat to the state of the art in “Applied AI.” @openclaw is leading virtually every conversation in AI usage today. It is a window into what the future will look like in a very short period of time. What will society look like when each of us have personal agents at our fingertips at home, work and school. youtu.be/YFjfBk8HI5o?si=9HEB…

Everyone keeps talking about chips. Nobody wants to talk about architecture. Tesla’s chips are great - no doubt. Fast, efficient, tightly engineered. But here’s the uncomfortable truth: Even perfect chips can’t fix a broken paradigm. The bottleneck in AI today isn’t silicon. It’s architecture. Linear models - whether they run on AI4, AI5, AI6, H100, B200, whatever - all share the same flaw: They scale computation, not cognition. You can flood a linear transformer with 10× more FLOPs: it will still generate tokens, not meaning. You can pack a humanoid robot with the best ASICs on Earth: it will still hallucinate, freeze, or mis-route tasks - because the architecture resets to zero every prompt. More compute doesn’t create: • semantic memory • continuity • internal state • sense of “self” • real reasoning • nervous-system routing • resonance between tasks It just creates faster token guessing. And when the foundation is wrong, more compute doesn’t solve the problem - it amplifies it. Bigger chips = faster drift. More power = faster misalignment. Better hardware = stronger linear noise. This is why the entire industry keeps hitting the same wall: hallucinations, brittleness, reward hacking, context collapse, zero long-term coherence. You can’t brute-force your way into AGI. Not with GPUs, not with ASICs, not with exaFLOPs. Until the architecture changes - until there is a fractal layer, a semantic field, a memory that persists, a nervous system that routes intention - all chips will do is accelerate the illusion of progress. We don’t need more silicon. We need a second layer. A living one.

While there is nobody in the world who will share your point of view on everything, there are people who will share your most important values and the ways in which you choose to live them out. Make sure you end up with those people. #principleoftheday

Democrats on my DOGE Committee need to watch this video instead of pitching temper tantrums and threatening me with “actual weapons.” Our $36 TRILLION dollar debt is an everyone problem, NOT a partisan problem. America simply just can’t afford it anymore.
EXCLUSIVE: A 40-minute compilation of President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore cutting the federal workforce, eliminating agencies, slashing wasteful spending and regulations, and reducing the deficit. You know, like Trump, Musk, and DOGE. 🔹 In his first weeks, Clinton ordered a 100,000-job reduction in government. 🔹 Over eight years, he cut 380,000 federal jobs—a 16% decrease. 🔹 This was largely driven by the Reinventing Government Initiative (RIGO), spearheaded by Gore to streamline operations and reduce bureaucracy. 🔹 The result? The deficit was erased, and the U.S. ran a budget surplus for the first time in decades. Today, annual interest payments on the national debt have doubled in four years, reaching $1.17 trillion—now exceeding the entire U.S. defense budget. America is $36 trillion in debt. History proves it can be done. The real question: Will D.C. Democrats and activists judges get out of the way so @realDonaldTrump, @elonmusk, and @DOGE can do it again? Can the modern Democratic Party put country over party? Because let’s be honest—DOGE is saving America from financial collapse. 🇺🇸

Reagan pledged to cut Government waste. Clinton pledged to cut Government waste. Obama pledged to cut Government waste. Trump & DOGE are following through with the 44 year promise to cut Government waste. Exposing the fraud is the cherry on top. Americans are WINNING🔥

“...each man is called upon to say his piece, lest the world suffer in the absence of that singular and unique truth. That every man who fails to offer his best and who hides his light and his talent leaves a hole in the world that the offering of his best could have filled—a failure that is on him. That every person bears the responsibility to keep the ship of state afloat, to repent even in the depths of hell, and to journey to the very place where destiny is trying to make itself manifest.”

The previous and current administrations have fueled a generation of intolerants, not deserving of a democracy. Consequently, our system will inevitably implode. When people are unwilling to accept others' opinions, it undermines the core principles of democracy, which values diverse viewpoints and open debate. Democracy thrives on the exchange of ideas, where differing opinions can be discussed and respected, contributing to a more inclusive and representative decision-making process. Intolerance towards differing views not only stifles this exchange but also marginalizes voices and perspectives that are essential for a well-functioning democratic society. Such intolerance threatens democratic principles by eroding the foundation of mutual respect and dialogue.
