The Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation, held a knowledge sharing session in Las Anod, Northeast Somalia, bringing together officials from several Northeast State ministries to exchange knowledge and experiences on Somalia’s federalisation process and the division of powers between different levels of government.
During the session, Mohamed Adan Mumin, Director of Federal Affairs and Intergovernmental Relations at MoIFAR, presented key aspects of federal governance and the allocation of responsibilities. The engagement forms part of the Ministry’s technical efforts to strengthen institutional understanding of federalism and support effective coordination between federal and state institutions.
