It’s so hard to cram 4 weeks into 1 minute and the fact that we did all this in just 4 weeks blows my mind. I’ll say it a million times, @Nathanc47010798 @lasergraderUt are absolutely incredible and with the help of @4MostSport and @DuraEdge we’re ready for the 2021 season! – at Reno, NV

Greater Nevada Field will look a lot different this year when fans return to the ballpark. @Aces Head Groundskeeper, @leahlou2, is changing out the field. There are also new LED lights, and pole-to-pole nets for fan safety. Here is the latest:

I have no bias whatsoever to natural vs synthetic debate; there's places for both in the right situation. This makes me think of an old axiom though: "A synthetic field looks/plays best the 1st game of the 1st season. A grass field looks/plays best the 1st game of every season."

Big thanks to Saegertown Boro and Little League for making this project happen. We essentially got to redo the field from infield mix to sod to warning track. It was a fun project to be a part of.

Pro tip: when you’re asked to flood it, if you can’t see the reflection of the stadium off the skin. You didn’t hit it hard enough.

Sadly, hitters CANNOT do this on turf without spikes or on loose dirt. But that's what most youth players play on. Same with pitching&fielding. Why teach players to do something that they can't do on most game surfaces? Coaching has WAY surpassed the actual surfaces kids play on

Can’t make this up: Thought I brought the A game this morning, especially considering I left the house at 4:00 AM. So definitely best dressed on the flight from PIT to BNA? Oh no. That goes to the guy literally next to me; brought his fuckin’ A+ game. Lesson here: never try.
