I wonder if Capcom regrets keeping Ethan Winters faceless. Looking at the RE 30th Anniversary promo, he carried 2 massive mainline games but gets zero love. Jill, Leon, Claire, Chris, & Wesker got dedicated history murals. Grace is on the main art. Ethan is nowhere. #ResidentEvil

1/2 Capcom always finishes a Resident Evil game's cycle before the next launch. Rumors saying the RE9 DLC is coming in 2028 after Code: Veronica (2027) make no sense. Look at RE7: released Jan 2017, DLCs dropped Dec 2017. RE9 dropped Feb 2026, so its DLC is likely due this Dec.

2/2 Moving to CV without finishing RE9 fails commercially. RE9 has 8M active players now; they won't return for DLC in 2028. Plus, CV's 2027 date has no fixed month. Even if RE9 DLC slips to Feb 2027, CV can drop late 2027—just like RE Revelations & RE6 both dropped in 2012.

What if the Resident Evil Requiem DLC is no longer a DLC? Naughty Dog turned a Uncharted 4 expansion into a full standalone game because the story outgrew its scope. With rumors of how ambitious the RE9 DLC is, Capcom might be doing the exact same thing. #ResidentEvilRequiem

October is almost over, and it looks like zero RE9 DLC news until Halloween sales end on Nov 5. Capcom wants to squeeze every cent out of their back catalog right now, hyping a new game/DLC would just make people save their wallets. Realistically, expect news after Nov 5. 🎃

I wonder if I have time to finish RE1, RE2, RE3, RECV, RE4, RE5, REV1, RE6, REV2, RE7, RE8, RE9. Then RE1R, RE0, RE2R, RE3R, RE4R. ALL that before RE Veronica Remake release? That's 17 games and its DLCs stories.
