We kicked off “Read Across America” week with a parade to match this year’s theme of “Red, white and blue- celebrating 250 chapters of America.” There was one student to represent every state. 🇺🇸

4th grade had the privilege of “meeting” a real life, smoke jumper from Montana. This was a direct connection to a story in their curriculum about smoke jumpers. Gabe Palmer has been fighting fires since 2013. He virtually shared out what he does and how he does it.
