🇹🇷🇦🇿🇮🇱 ERDOGAN’S LONGTIME ALLY ALIYEV SNUBS TURKIC SUMMIT AS “TWO STATES, ONE NATION” ALLIANCE STARTS TO CRACK OVER HIJAB & ISRAEL Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev skipped Turkic states summit in Ankara despite a personal invitation from Erdogan. The two leaders have spent years presenting Turkey and Azerbaijan as “two states, one nation,” but tensions are now spilling into the open. The latest fight began after Turkish officials criticized Azerbaijan’s restrictions on headscarves in schools, prompting Baku to warn outsiders against interfering in its domestic affairs. Azerbaijan has also declared 31 Turkish nationals persona non grata over social media posts criticizing Baku. Behind that dispute is a much bigger divide over Israel, Turkey’s rapprochement with Armenia, and how much influence Ankara should have in Azerbaijan. Erdogan tried to cool things down at the summit, saying there was “no place for separation, division, or conflict in our family picture.” Aliyev still did not show up. A welcome step from the PM. The Transatlantic Slave Trade was one of history’s most heinous crimes. We must be honest about how the horrors of our past have shaped the present - because only then can we begin to build a fairer future for everyone.

I really don't know which lunatic decided that a White kid born in 2005 owes the world an apology for something that happened 300 years ago Slavery wasn't some White invention. Every civilization did it. Africans sold other Africans. The Arab slave trade ran for over a thousand years and enslaved millions. Nobody talks about that And guess who actually ended it? The West. Britain banned the trade and literally sent its navy out to hunt down slave ships. That part somehow never makes it into the lecture Meanwhile, slavery still exists today in parts of Africa and the Middle East. Mauritania only made it a crime in 2007. You will never see the outrage or the protests... Nothing but silence But in the West, people are told to feel guilty for being born. Criminals get excused because "the system made him do it." Repeat offenders get arrested again and again and walk right back out. The victim gets forgotten and the criminal gets treated like the victim Seriously, how did it get this bad? The same civilization that built the modern world and ended slavery is now tearing itself apart and calling it morality You have no reason to feel guilty for things that happened centuries ago. You don't even remember what you ate last week This isn't compassion, it's insanity This is literally civilizational suicide

James McClean is a despicable hypocrite He won't wear the poppy because it commemorates British soldiers and we all know who he's a fan of But he's happy to make millions playing football in Britain no problem at all He says its the same as a British person wearing a symbol commemorating the patriotic day of Ireland NO IT ISN'T The poppy isn't a celebration of war, it's in remembrance of the lives lost Lives lost, protecting this country, so you could make your millions Absolute scum

This is Gaza today. Thousands of “innocent” Gazans are at the funeral of a Hamas terrorist, many of them armed and calling for revenge. Those are the people that the world calls the victims.

I tend to be a pessimist, but here is some optimism for you: Islam has been defeated in Iran. On a cultural, societal and national level. The islamic regime consists of 100 year old mullahs and 75 year old IRGC terrorists. Meanwhile, Iran's youth has never been more fiercely anti-islam than they are right now. Mosques are shutting down. Arabic/islamic baby names are plummeting. Ancient Persian heritage is embraced more than ever before. And soon, the chains of the barbarian regime known as the islamic republic will be destroyed. After this 47 year long dark night ends, there will be a bright future. We will win.

🇯🇴 Things got pretty intense on the Jordan–Syria border yesterday. Jordan's military says 14 armed men tried to cross into the country from Syria under heavy covering fire. Border guards engaged them, inflicted multiple casualties, and the rest pulled back into Syria. Reinforcements had already been moving to the border earlier in the day, but the border hasn’t been this active in a while. Source: GeoPWatch on Telegram / Writer: Lynn

It’s insane that Burnham is considering apologising for slavery. Britain did MORE THAN ANY OTHER COUNTRY to end it. Britain was the first global power to abolish the slave trade. Parliament passed the Slave Trade Act in 1807.  Britain then formed the West Africa Squadron. Brave British sailors patrolled the high seas and enforced this ban on the slave trade.  His Majesty’s Royal Navy, the mightiest navy the world had ever seen, faced down slave ships and forced them to comply.  In doing so the heroes of the West Africa Squadron freed 150,000 slaves. With the sacrifice of thousands of British sailors. Their sacrifice MUST be honoured. The financial cost of Britain’s moral mission in today’s money was in the hundreds of billions. The world owes a debt of gratitude to Britain. That is why instead of apologising, as Home Secretary I will stop issuing visas to nationals of any country demanding slavery reparations from Britain. We will not be humiliated any more. Enough is enough. Reform will stand up for Britain. 🇬🇧

Africans fully participated in the slave trade at Elmina, Ghana. Trade records from the Dutch West India Company, Royal African Company, and Danish ledgers from Elmina, Cape Coast show African rulers and merchants negotiating prices, quantities, and terms with European factors. African brokers and rulers controlled who could trade and where. African-authored testimony, for example, Ottobah Cugoano, a Fante man enslaved around 1770, wrote that he was kidnapped by fellow Africans and sold into slavery. In fact the Asante expansion in modern-day Ghana involved conquering neighbours like Denkyira, Akyem, and Gonja. The prisoners taken in those wars- by Africans- supplied both the coastal trade and domestic labour. The fort archaeology from excavations at Elmina, Cape Coast, and inland Asante sites back all of this up. On your logic, the government of Ghana should be apologising for their involvement in slavery.
Having just left Elmina Castle in Ghana, where enslaved Africans were imprisoned before being shipped across the Atlantic, I think Europeans should never tire of acknowledging the horrors of our shared history and asking forgiveness from our African friends. Britain played its own shameful part in that history.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Elmina Castle was built by the Portuguese in 1482, seized by the Dutch in 1637 and acquired by Britain only in 1872—after Britain abolished the slave trade in 1807. Africans captured in wars and raids supplied most enslaved people sold to Europeans at such coastal forts. britannica.com/place/Elmina-C… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elmina_Ca… britannica.com/topic/transatl… rmg.co.uk/stories/mariti…

I agree. The British establishment should apologise over slavery. To us. For allowing this pathetic, self-loathing, anti-white bullshit to drag on for so long. The answer, to any jumped-up Caribbean or African, is this - you can piss off. End of debate.
