We often don’t realize that Love Is not exclusive to Humans. This beautiful story of a swan couple shows us that ❤️. He was found covered in blood and taken to a rehab facility and cared for. His mate waited every day at the place where rescuers took him, for his return 🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️❤️😢😢

These are the hardworking Latinos Trump's ICE Nazis are kidnapping, brutalizing, and throwing into concentration camps without due process.

Hey @nycmayor, we have a rat infestation on West 100th Street and they’re being fed by @nycHealthy leaving its garbage out all weekend! Can you please have them put garbage in containers? c @ShaunAbreu

There is much to celebrate this week, but I want to call specific attention to historic gains Democratic women made in representation:
- For the first time in history, over 100 Democratic women will serve in the U.S. House.
- At least 16 Democratic women will serve in the Senate.
- At least 14 Democratic women will serve as governors, a record high.
- A record of 2,600 Democratic women running for seats in state legislatures helped flip 12 majorities and break 11 supermajorities.
- Four states elected their first woman governor: Georgia, Minnesota, Ohio, and Tennessee.
- @KeishaBottoms will be the first Black woman to serve as a governor.
- @DebHaalandNM will be the first Native American woman to serve as a governor.
- @GinaHinojosaTX will be the first Latina to serve as governor of Texas.
- @peggyflanagan will be the first Native American woman to serve in the Senate.
I am beyond excited to see these extraordinary people and public servants tackle accountability, affordability, and our other challenges to make life better for everyone in this country.
Congratulations to everyone who ran: win or lose, fighting for what's right is always worth it.

Austin, Texas sounded like an Eastern European city that just overthrew a dictator.

In 2023, the Senate asked John Roberts to come testify about Supreme Court ethics.
He said no.
A year later, he wrote the ruling that made Trump immune.
The new Congress doesn’t have to ask nicely. Time to investigate and impeach John Roberts. Agreed?

Peggy Flanagan of Minnesota has just become the first Native American to become a United States Senator. With at least 52 Democratic seats now in the Senate, John Fetterman has just become irrelevant.

Last night Trump said he could have won Vietnam in a week. His plan was “going after Ho Chi Minh City.”
Ho Chi Minh City was Saigon, the capital of South Vietnam. Our ally. The enemy’s capital was Hanoi. We bombed it.
He called the presidents who fought that war stupid, then explained how he’d have won it by attacking our own side.
58,220 Americans died in that war. Trump got five deferments. Now he’s telling the rest of us how easy it would have been.
He’s had more than fifty years to learn which side we were on. He still hasn’t. That alone should disqualify him from sending anybody else’s kids to war.
Instead, he’s weighing more strikes on Iran after Tuesday. His administration has reportedly considered using the “mother of all bombs,” the one he calls “like a tiny nuclear bomb.”
The man who thinks we should have bombed our ally’s capital gets to choose the targets.
